For future review vids, id like to see more product comparisons whether theyre mice or mousepads. It would make the review that much better imo. Like i dont have a zero or xten so i have no idea where the control and speed is at in my mind and im sure other viewers might run into the same issue. More comparisons will be beneficial to more ppl
The only reason I did this video now instead of weeks ago, is that I really did not have another pad that is comparable to it until I got some Artisan pads and an Xten recently. I went through 60 other pads and did not find any other pads that compared to this one really. Maybe the IKEA pad is somewhat similar, but the IKEA pad is much thicker. In the Lamzu Mouse review, I am editing right now, I compare it to at least 4 or 5 other mice.
@@Gen3DTech understandable, I didn’t mean you have to find exact pads that feel similar, but more so using some popular pads as benchmarks. Like if you could say this pad is slower than 2-3 more other pads then say this pad feels faster than x y z. Then it gives a better mental image of where the pad stands
@@Gen3DTech I think it's ok this way if there isn't really a pad to compare it to. At least an Artisan Pad is a rough clue. Even if you don't own one, they are well known and you can find alot of reviews.
I bought for 5$ and love the surface , but can’t main it due to the size, would instantly buy in a 500x500 or artisan size. Any idea if and when they’ll release a bigger size?
is the airone surface more on the smoother side or textured? xten is my favorite pad because of the textured feedback. if it were to ever wear down though, it would be quite pricey to replace so I've been on the hunt for an alternative. lethal have confirmed they're making a textured balanced control pad so I've been on the lookout for that 👀
I actually have a bunch of the Esp Tiger pads, but I am actually lacking that pad. However, from talking with a fellow content creator, I believe the surface is the same but the base is different which can have an affect of the feel of the surface.
I hope Gwolves does not listen to the majority of enthusiasts asking for a 500x500 size, if it's going to be their only size option. It is a size that does not fit in 95% of setups and will be an awful seller when it comes to the mainstream and the average gamer (even competitive gamer). 480x400 - 490x420 range should always be the standard XL size, with 500x500 being an afterthought.
While I somewhat agree, every recent poll asking this very question has 500x500 winning, and it is not even close. The crazy thing is I think G-Wolves actually asked what people thought about 600x500. If they are smart they will offer at least two different sizes. Here is a real-world example...Dornfinger offers 540x540 and 483x420, the 540x540 outsells the 482x420 on every release. The hardcore mouse fan wants bigger sizes. If G-Wolves was selling their pads in Best Buy I would probably suggest they go with 450x400. I have so much on my desk I prefer smaller sizes, but the vast majority of the gamer I interact with me, mostly want bigger sizes. They also tend to be low-sens players who use a lot of pad space.
@@Gen3DTech Well of course, that's because they're asking hardcore mousepad enthusiasts that question. The Dornfinger 540x540 outsells the smaller size because they put it as their default size and even offer more options on their site when it comes to the stitching with that size. It's the size they also advertise most, and they sell it to their small dedicated community of enthusiasts. The average competitive gamer prefers 490x420. Even pro players prefer 490x410/420 according to LGG"s own research with many pros. The best thing would be to offer both, but what I'm saying is, if they are only going with one size, 500x500 would be a huge mistake and the pad will fail, and they would probably not be able to figure out it was due to the size and just give up on what seems like a great surface & base.
@@xblur17 Well, be sure to express that opinion to GWolves as they have not announced an official re-release of the AirOne in a bigger size, so maybe it is not too late. I tagged them on my Twitter announcement of this review if you follow me, that will probably be a good place to post that as I am sure they will comment on my post. They usually do.
That is a really interesting discusion. Is it more about the 500 in width or the 500 in depth you don't like? For me the 540 of the Rawpad is already a bit too much in width to have enough space for my keyboard next to it. But when we are talking about depth I would really like more to cover the whole depth of my desk. I'm cheering for 450 x 600.

I have asked them multiple times on a date, and they only tell me a bigger size Air One pad is in the works but no date is given.

It is slightly smoother than the Xten. Kind of in-between the zero and Xten.
$9.90 on amz, worth to try.
Do you know if the esp tiger grandmaster pro surface differs from previous grandmasters?
