Excellent video! On the SS theres been loads of herring. I was getting 5 or 6 at a time, however, they weren’t too big. You caught some nice size herrings. Beer batter herring isn’t bad either! And I’m surprised that pier was empty haha
2 things...#1 ..that reels handle is on the wrong side #2..gotta get them fish on ice quick next time, this hot weather will cook them right on the boards!
One of my favorite reels
Amazing you were not surrounded by 100 people at that spot.....sweet reel, way to restore and keep those Penn's cranking!
Yeah I noticed that too. Thought I had the pier all to myself but later on people started pouring out of their cars lol

Thanks for the comment, gotta try beer battered herring next time.
It's not bass fishing just lift the rod tip instead of yanking you'll have a much higher hook up ratio especially with sabiki rigs
Nice video~~
What material do you use for a flasher ?
I use aluminum trays but you can use beer cans as well. I have made some flashers using thicker aluminum sheet in the past too. All of them works well
@@FishingHam great thanks , have you ever done a video showing how you make flashers ? Idk just an idea lol
@@Exploremorefishing that's a great idea I'll try to make one this winter
