We really haven’t had a good 3 point shooting game yet this tournament. If we continue to play our game and mix in higher 3pt pct on top of that, it won’t be close

UNLV had 2 years like this back in the early 90s

Uconn with Donovan/Johnson can limit Edey to 20. Uconn could limit their guards, which is more than likely. Could wear down the Purdue guards because of size. If they can prevent Edey from receiving the ball at his sweet spot, game over. The constant motion offence could also wear them and Edey down. If Donovan can play 30 minutes unhampered with fouls and Johnson 10, the win might be likely. I don't see Edey slowing down Donovan and Johnson. They are just more mobile and faster. If the refs don't call it too tight, I might even be tempted to say Uconn wins by 25-30.

As a UConn fan, we can definitely get an L Clingan can not get into foul trouble, if so we are done. UConn needs to be a beast at the perimeter .

UConn gonna wear Edey out by pushing the tempo and Clingan/Slamson constant rim running. When I say pushing the tempo, I mean getting out on the break and if nothing easy is there, going into their normal sets.
As great of shape as Edey is in, he simply hasn't faced the type of intensity, the type of offensive sets that he's going to see tonight and it really feels like Uconn is on a mission to say a big F*CK YOU to the NCAA committee.
UConn has the best back court in the nation and why they will win

Yall are forgetting the power forward for Purdue. He’s strong af , he guarded burns and burns couldn’t back him down. TKR he’s like 6’9 and cleans up boards. UConn ain’t physical down low like that.

@@BlyGuyTennessee runs the floor really good lol

@@mikepettheflyguy8205 I'll take your word for it, but it goes beyond just running the floor well. UConn exhausts their opponents with no stop action all over the court and then getting right up in the grill of their man on defense.
This is why we see these avalanches of scoring runs by UConn. They just wear you down until you lose focus for one 2-3 minute stretch and suddenly you look up and it's over.
I love this Purdue team. Id absolutely be rooting for them if not for Uconn being their opponent. I love Edey and Painter and want good things for them, just not at UConn's expense.

Conner: I can't remember the last time Clingan actually played 30 minutes
