The fact that you said at the beginning that you've been using them for a long time, and you bought ten of them, is enough of a testimonial.

Getting batteries out of the Sennheiser mics - When you look a the battery compartment, you'll notice the strips of plastic on either side of the batteries is more flexible than the rest of the body. Squeeze either side of the batteries, at the same time, and they'll pop out

I'm going to try that when I get back home from this gig!

Check out the Gator GM-1W Wireless System Bag for single units. You can open up the top to pull up the antennas.

Sennheiser is superior in terms of RF robustness and having the power button NOT hidden behind a door like the other system.

My Sennheiser mics are still my go to mics when I need one for a show. The Audio-Technica mics are pretty much just for my corporate gigs when I need to use a lot of them at the same time. My opinion could change on this but I think on my next mic swap I might go back to sennheiser. I'll be using the Audio-Technica mics for a while though so we'll see what my thoughts are after a year of use. I will say I do find myself missing that mute button...

LOL, I drilled my own holes for mounting those 1/4 wave antennae.

HI Brian, Great Video. Question: Sennheiser wireless EW100 G4 can you mount the 965 wireless capsule to it handheld microphone? I am currently using the Sennheiser Wireless 865 capsule one the best so far. One I want to try the 965 capsule. from the old day I used Audio Technica and it's a piece of junk, Audio Technica had a bad reputation in the old days, but still like craps.... I stay away from them. Maybe you can use Audio Technica for home Karaoke, etc... nothing major gigs, or professional concerts. these are cheaply made. To me the two professional Wireless Microphone companies are Shure and Sennheiser, I like the Sennhesier more because the voice/sound is more real than the Shure. I tried the Shure SM58 and Beta58 I didn't like, sound very warm. I heard from reviews that the Shure Beta87 capsule wireless is Awesome, but I had not try, one day...... I have the Shure Wireless SM58, and Beta58 however, I prefer Sennheiser wireless system over the Shure. Shure are ALL MADE IN CHINA! Sennheiser are still made in Germany and USA. YES, Audio Technica is cheaper, but what is the point you paid less, but can't use them ..... then it 's junk. Thanks.

You should be able to swap your mic capsule for any Sennheiser capsule. I think you could even put a Shure capsule on it. Most of the major microphone manufacturers use industry standard threads on their mic capsules so they are all swappable.

Question is it true one guy on here said with the sennheiser mic with the antenna being on the bottom he had a guess speaker an when he held the mic from the bottom it was cutting in an out but in the middle just fine have you experienced anything like that with the sennheiser?

I do some sound tech work with another company that has the G3 sennheiser and they complain about that problem. I own the G4's and I've never noticed that issue. But I've never specifically tested for it. Maybe make sure you have high transmit power turned on? 🤔

@@TheAngrySoundTech I was thinking about purchasing the sennheiser but I seen that issue I'm in between audio technica an sennheiser, shure. audio technica is up there with sennheiser on price wise

Maybe I'll make a video where I test that since I have the Audio-Technica and Sennheiser G3's and G4's at my disposal. If I was to test it how far away from the receiver would you like the handheld to be for the test?

But on a side note I'd ask yourself if you want an easily accessible on/off button. If so I'd go with the Sennheiser. That is the one downside of the Audio-Technica. But overall I'm happy with the Audio-Technica and will not be selling them. If anything I'll be adding more to my inventory. But I still keep my Sennheisers too! lol

@@TheAngrySoundTech I will just wait on you test on the sennheiser wireless that I originally ask that will help me make me decision
