Great video as always, just wanted to add one thing I recently learned. The rotary valve disk, if installed backwards the engine WILL STILL RUN... but with vacuum leak symptoms, no bottom end but once its over the half way mark on revs it will run ok (did 55!). This issue plagued me after my last complete rebuild, my marker bled off the rotary disk while waiting for parts and i mistakenly installed it backwards. Port should close about 55 degrees after TDC. This was the last thing I checked, after redoing all my seals and orings....
Your valve plate is at 0.69 or 0.68, which is very very very close to 0.7 and quite a bit far from 0.6. Your valve plate measures almost like new at 0.7.
Good day sir, I know this is a different bike but my 1984 xv750 is bogging on low to mid throttle and the spark plugs gets dark. What do you think could cause this? I've cleaned my carbs, I'm using the jets that comes with it.
Hope all is well , I gave a question I don’t know if you have this bike in your territory Suzuki GP 100 I’m about to begin a project on it however last time it was running I was getting fuel missed back out of the carburettor Do you have any advice on this
I need the actual tumbler. Previous owner drilled out cause he didn’t have key. Explain what you mean by which model? It’s manufactured date is 10/74 100cc Kawasaki G5 street legal version. In yellow. Unmolested, 2400mile survivor. Still on original rubber!
At 3:41 there is the small pipe with O-ring for the 2-stroke oil to go through. I need the pipe for my KE100B, project does anyone know what size it is or where I can get it? Thanks
