It was a struggle but I was able to retrieve the cartridge that was stuck inside my Nintendo switch. My daughter shoved it in the wrong way (backwards and upside down). Some double tape, plastic wedge, a penny and some grit is all it took. Thanks bro!!

It worked getting the wrong memory stick I hot stuck in my Sony Clie' PEG-S22 pda/game machine.
Thanks , it makes no sense going to repair shops that asked for $85 just to look at it! Not when the Clie cost me $18 total.
Ifixit sold me the tools I need for only $17.

Opened this with a bunch of other tabs after accidentally sticking micro(nano?) sims card into SD Adapter, because current phone has them in the same tray. It was stuck in the way that only tiniest corner poked out, was too snug to dislodge without pushing the whole thing in because it was smaller in length.
Solution: Jewelry pliers worked a treat. Thin, flatheaded, but not smooth, or too rough - had enough grip to fish it out first try! :)

The tape trick is nice and I'm sure works 90% of the time. In my case I got really unlucky and the micro-sd card was way out of reach.I couldn't see it anywhere it had dissapered!
This is a really old tablet with quite thick case so I got a professional mobile phone / tablet pry-open kit with plastic spudgers and suction cup and carefully got the case off. The Micro SD card had migrated to the other side of the tablet! The risk of damaging things by opening the tablet is significant and definitely I wouldn't advise anyone without a proper kit. Probably safest to take to a repair shop.
Lol it sounds like it didn't go in the slot, but outside of it.
@@ItsBinhRepaired Yes this is an old tablet and quite worn. There is a 1.5-2mm gap between case and slot holder so it definetly went outside and then as I moved the tablet it followed gravity to the other end. I did try and shake it out but that didn't work either.

It worked almost right away, all I had to do was a little more trimming to make it fit. I thought I had a major problem and was going to take it to a phone technician.

This was not about getting my camera SD card out of an SD slot. In my case, a new SD card is stuck in my Panasonic TV card slot. It springs out, but does not come all the way out.

You can use normal tape, just fold or backwards and then tape the ends down.
