I definitely use some bits and pieces where I can but I feel like there are also some things in these that are utterly useless in my stakes (10$ish and below). For example in spots that I feel are massively overbluffed I just call everything decent regardless of blockers and in spots where I feel like every logical bluff on the planet gets there I just fold everything that's not close to the nuts. But even the things I don't use are still very helpful to know and in close spots these blocker things come in very handy. And also very important, these vids are very fun to watch :D
Just when you think you're getting this poker thing, you watch this video and realize you have much longer to go. Seeing a pro humbly taking advice from a coach was actually great to witness. Great content Lex!
Without a doubt the best lesson i’ve had to date on specific defending hands. Your coach is great with explaining every little aspect. Good stuff on this one. thank you for the share.
Man Jordan really knows his stuff. Talking about blocking bottom of opp. range and preflop mechanics. Way to be transparent and vulnerable Lex. Keep the good content coming. GL in the main Sunday. Wish you were selling action for PSCP as I truly believe you are going to crush. 🐐
@@LexVeldhuisTV could not agree more. I appreciate your passion to not only poker, but your approach to life and love you show your supporters. Keep it up Lex you’re inspiring a lot of people in more ways than you may know.
just beautifull how Jordan breaks down this spots... so many...daaamm thats so true moments.. he he he.. thx for this vids Lex.. G´d bless you and your Wife and Children and all your familiy ;)
Lex, my man, how are you doing? I want to thank you for these incredible UA-cam videos you keep putting out and I wish you and your family the best. Ever since that heartfelt video after your father passing you have been in my prayers. Thanks again, Lex-
Would it be possibly to follow up a little more in hands that end preemptively like the first one... like on the river where opponent jams, I think it would be really valuable to go over what hands have to call river against a line like this with 2x pot all in, like now do we get to fold all 9x on the river and only call with top pair+, or are we still calling some of the best 9x, these were the questions I had after the hand. Thanks for the content Lex, incredible that youre doing this for your community!
I would like to see a video about flopping 2-pair on the bigblind vs some guy in position that raised 2.2x preflop. But the flop has two suited cards, those 2 cards are the ones you paired. The 3rd card is some offsuit A/K/Q/J/T.
Funny that when I played my next tournament I got dealt 10 and 5 off. Immediately knew against min raise and call that it's a defend from big blind. So helpful videos, keep them coming!
Overall, I love the series and the marketing strategy of videos and streamlined threads underneath and interactions. This is good, and for me, Lex is one of the good old school pros that take in computational knowledge well, so he performs pretty well in zone 1 memory and will be the best. TBH, I think bbz is decent, but a little bit overrated, given multiway pot and ICM.
Also it's important to realize it will take a while to get everything as it's said. The most important thing is having 1-2 good takeaways. And then if you revisit the content, you'll pick up another little thing
Mayb its a good idea to break down his jibberish way of talking like we all understand what he is explaining... we dont have to defend with three's cause we have more pairs of nines.. yeah and? your opponent doesnt know that. I dont understand tf of it all.
Nines are better bluff catchers than threes or deuces because it becomes less likely that your opponent has nines. In general, when facing a bet where you can either call or fold, you want to rank the hands you have so as to fold the worst ones and keep the best. For example, because villain bet 1.5x pot, you have to fold optimally most hands (I think 2/3?) - don't know, I'm bad at the math part...
Are you going to use these methods in your next game?
I started to watch your videos and result 1st place 230 people, and 2 times winning 109 tickets starting from freerolls !Thank you for 🙏
yes, can i ask who is the coach?

Also these range breakdowns preflop arent nearly as usable cause every table I'm on there is someone with 50%+ VPIP if not multiple
More importantly, Are YOU going to use these methods in YOUR next game? 🙂

Good to hear. We're never too old to learn. There will never be a point in the future when someone plays perfect. So we can always improve

That's a huge complement so thank you very much!

His at-hand knowledge is second to none in the game. It's insane how much clarity he has

Ty Matt Affleck lol, Button offsuit 8s and suited 5s, Cutoff offsuit 9s and suited 6s, ect ect.....Knowing preflop makes postflop so much easier
Very interesting discussion and point of view of good players . Its always nice to see how they think

Very very interesting, who is the coach?
someone who doesn't use pio, i'd say...
BBZ @ BBZPoker
And they say Lex can't admit when he's wrong...
Yeah it's so silly but thanks bud
its too hard to understand too many things bbz said :/
Sorry I'll try and speak more slowly. It's something I've always had to work on but I still talk too fast.

It's a process Ron. That's why these videos are advanced. Just try to learn little takeaways and go from there
