There is one of these trees growing close to my home in England. It's the only one I have ever seen, but I'm sure there must be more in my country. This one has one of its heavy branches held up by wooden supports. It must be many, many years old.

they are just magnificent, this one didi ‘t have any supports on the branches so I imagine the one near your home is even bigger
