- Emilia's first trip to the dentist was absolutely astonishing! I honestly did not believe that a two year old would react so well! We of course spoke about the dentist all day giving her the reassurance that dentists are good people who just want to help. I was honestly worrying that Emilia may kick off, but it never happened!
Unfortunately mum couldn't be with us to share her first dental milestone, which was the main reason for this video.

First time seeing emi having direct conversation with people other than her family members. She was looking confident 😎
Such a nice dentist. He was so good at making up a fun story about each tool he was using and he let her examine them first.

Lets appreciate the effort made by Dad and mom for preparing Emilia to the dentist visit. She was curious and not at all anxious. Some good parenting skills to advise of.

Yay! Emilia did great at her first dental appointment. Her little face when she heard about the Peppa Pig sticker🥰 What a kind dentist she had too. I know people who have a life long phobia of dentists because of childhood experiences so it's great to see how this was handled so well.

That dentist is really good at helping the child adjust to all the new things. Emilia was so brave and the faces she made with her eyes wide open were so cute!! Daddy - you do such a good job at talking to Emilia about the dentist

positive reinforcement is definitely the way to go with things like this! i do exactly the same with spiders as they have a really bad stigma with everyone being afraid!

@@EmiliasWorld completely agree! Bad experiences in childhood will stick with us for the rest of our life. I had one too with the syringe. I'm over it but it took time. And also i love how you assured Emilia the whole time that is gonna be good👍

Emilia is really and truly a brave baby for not being afraid to go to dentist at all. If I was her, I would be traumatized for lifetime. Especially because I still have traumas from removing my second tooth that was rotten beyond repair then it was previously thought it was. Emilia, for being so brave for going to dentist, I salute you and you have my eternal respect! 😍
