@Don - thank you for taking the time to be so passionate about tea. I had some of the Bulang Brittle and I was hooked. Saw this and got some based just on that experience - it’s delicious. Such an easy drinking tea that it’s difficult to explain. Stay safe.
be carefull to not mix up the nuggs while you are haveing a late night session in the trap :^). And as always you are handling the nuggs really confidently. love it!
Hey Don, love the videos and miss coming to the shop in camden, would just like to say that i would love to see cracked items go on sale for a lower price, think it would be a great idea!
I am in love with tea and I've been watching you for some time and have been wanting to get into Gong fu style. I already have 2 japanese tea Sets and 3 english Sets and now I've just ordered my first tea tray and some other stuff for Gong fu brewing, sadly not from your Website because it's a little too expensive for me, especially with the 20€ shipping, but when I've dived more into it I'll definetly order some of your teas! Thanks for being so informative!
Caffeine in tea is such a big debate that it would be kind of difficult to measure them all. But its easy to fallow the the scale, from high to low Pu erh, green, black, withe, yellow, oolong. Or something like that :D
How do you keep the infusions going without the tea dying? I know you mentioned the roasted bulang brittle going for long, but everytime I drink it using around 5g at 30 seconds + 5 or so the next infusion, the tea seems to die after around the 5th or 6th infusion. Sometimes you can keep going because there is a difference between sweet water, and no taste, but most of the time I feel like I have to stop after the 6th infusion because there is nothing left even after doing the forgotten brew for the last couple.
Yeah I agree. Though I would like to get past the 5th infusion but most tea's are ready for the bin even after leaving them brewing forever, it's probably the only thing I don't understand about these 'keeps on giving teas'.
I bought a lao cha tou from another supplier and was a bit impatient when first brewing it and thought i made a bad purchase, but I am going to give it a shot and more time and maybe I fall in love with thtis tea :D
Quite an interesting tea ! I have to confess thought that I paused the video long enough to write this comment before continuing to the end. I had a smile and I completely agree when you said that you would use a cup that's a little broken. I actually think that cup is quite cute and stands out from the rest :) ! In this I was reminded of the Japanese technique of kintsugi (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kintsugi).
😢that's an interesting tea, BUT, I bought too much tea, I have nothing left for new tea 😭 Thank you for the video, always learning something with them😀
I love Lao Tou Cha, although it is hard to really extract all the goodness. Has anyone tried Jun shan Huang Cha Pressed Nuggets? Similar to Puer Lao Tou but is made from Yellow tea.
Hi guys! Please talk with me anyone.I really need moral support now. I drink a lot of old tea and meditate, it helps little to stay away from pain. I just want to die.
Hey. I know nothing about what is going on in your life but I do sincerely believe that you and you alone decide how to react to what life throws at you so I hope that you choose to react with light and positivity, with tea as a companion and reninder.
@@MeiLeaf Thank you Mr. Mei. You know, sitting in quarantine for a month and a half, not being able to earn money, I was left by my beloved woman. She also quarantined in her homeland, while I supported her in every way and was with her in her difficult time. And when I remained under great pressure I was thrown. I was completely broken. Tea became a part of my life and I drink a lot of tea using the Taiwanese method of brewing and a lot of meditation. At the moment I started the process of healing my soul. Yesterday I found a good listener who listened to all my pain l supported me.True and masculine power will triumph. I'm grateful to this woman for teaching me a good lesson in life.God bless mr.Mei.Just keep going💪

These nugs are so good! Quickly becoming a new favourite. )

Great video. I'd like to see a video on Japanese iron cast tetsubin. Does it really change the flavour of the watch and the tea?
Yes. Equipment is important for brew a tea

25 brews, OMG, this is totally amazing.
This tea is amazing, after you go trough the first 7 8 infusions , you can just do 5 minutes infusion forever
i remember 10 years ago thats like the cheapest weed you can get here in southeast asia.
My order is in the post. I can't wait to receive and try it. VERY EXCITED🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
Lovely vid. Is Mei Leaf online still up and shipping orders during all this?

Great videos. I just ordered some amber gaba!
Just a suggestion for the website - to add how much caffeine the tea has. If it's possible... :/

@@Colectionarul Thanks a lot :)
I'm enjoying a Rafael Gonzalez Perla cigar and a simple, rather insipid Pu Er, not from Mei leaf, with this vid. Thanks.

Just an idea Don (i'm glad you didn't throw away) the broken cups ...have you thought about jazzing them up with a little kintsugi
Question: Why they call it Lao? It's because we're talking about gushu material?
PS. Wonderful shirt! Keep this dresscode alive, we like it as much as all teas :) //

Its worth it
Ok but when there is literally zero euro on my account I can't make money pop out of nowhere 😅

Brew puer tea by yixing teapot is better.

If you ever smelled a wet pile you would never drink ripe Pu-erh.
I did smell wet pipe and I still drink ripe Puerh. Maybe I tasted and accepted ripe Puerh first.
You shouldn't be drinking from broken cups, you could leave them in nature it is not wasting :)
