- In this video, I played 100 days in Dinkum: the Australian love child of Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley. I set out to build a bustling town from the ground up, while also completing other fun and unnecessary goals like commissioning a MOTORCYCLE to whip around on. Love it! As an Australian, this game stole my heart. Also, that 'hedgehog' is called an echidna 😊 the big bird is also a cassowary
as a queenslander the innate fear she had of the cassowary without knowing what it was felt right

Far cry 3 has set a permanent hate of cassowaries in my flesh
I'm not an Aussie myself but when that echidna was called a "hedgehog" (for context I love biology) I still felt insulted.
And that Chook is actually pronouced chuk
I've been playing Dinkum since it came out, so your 100 days was a pleasure to behold! And OMG YES! we need to see you reach 200 days and beyond, especially now the Spring update is here with lots of new items and of course the new level of mines! Keep playing Charlie! We need to see it, lol 🤗

@@rachels134 It’s in Early Access right now only on Steam! It’s for PC only and not available to console yet. That may come later whenever it releases! :) I think it’s around $19.99 USD, last I checked.

Giant bird: Cassowary. Known for being very dangerous and having stylish built in helmets.
Hedgehog thing: Echidna. One of two egg laying mammals.
I have *never* heard creamsicle pronounced that way…
Right? Like was that joke or do people not know how to say it? Like how would she pronounce popsicle or icicle?

The best 1hr. and 28 mins. of my life this month. I never thought I'd love this more than the 100 days series of Stardew Valley. And boy, it was 100x better! I love the SV vods but this definitely is top tier!

Well, I was going to rag on Charlie for not knowing how to pronounce 'chook', but then I discovered I don't know how to pronounce 'Creamsicle'. I thought it rhymed with testicle.
HAHAHA no it's actually pronounced "cream-sick-ul" I believe, but its a bit of a channel joke because I accidentally named a cat creamsiscle once lol

I also got the alpha bush devil quest and cheesed the fight with ai pathing by trapping it on a ledge you’d have to jump off, which animals won’t do, and hitting it with the hammer over and over
