Hi Sue. Once I read that if a woman asked if she was pregnant and if the High Priestess appears, it means yes she's pregnant, but not known yet. If it appears the Empress it would mean that the woman is not pregnant otherwise it would be seen and clear without doubt because of the prominent womb. I found this idea very interesting. In this case perhaps it could be said that it would be an unexpected pregnancy, without knowing when it would take place. What do you think?
I'm not sure I completely understand what you're saying about the Empress meaning the woman is NOT pregnant. My understanding is that the Empress can be a sign of pregnancy (expected or otherwise) but it could also mean giving birth to something else, depending on the question. Of course it doesn't make sense to ask the cards if you're pregnant if you already have the baby bump to prove you are. The High Priestess comment is interesting and makes a lot of sense. I'm Portuguese 🙂 what I was trying to say is that if a woman ask the cards wanting to know if she's pregnant and the High Priestess appears, it can mean that in fact she's already pregnant but doesn't know and it's still hidden, without symptoms. Otherwise if the Empress appears, the woman making the same question, if she's pregnant, it would mean that the woman is not pregnant yet otherwise she would have symptoms because of the imagery of the card . It's not something that came from my mind, I read this some time ago and I would like to know what do you think about this theory 😍
@@alexcriscat6086 That's a very interesting interpretation and one I hadn't heard before. It's certainly not what people commonly think of with the Empress which is all about mother energy. It's definitely something to keep in mind when doing a pregnancy reading. As always, I think we need to trust our intuition and look at surrounding cards. Personally, if I thought I was pregnant, I would just take a pregnancy test and not consult a tarot reader! PS: Your English is amazing. I am in awe of people who are bilingual.

When I was working in the Netherlands, back in 2012, being able to communicate in English language made things easier for me. In the Netherlands it's amazing because they all speak perfect English, besides their native Dutch language. But regarding the High Priestess and the Empress you are absolutely right. Please, go and make a test 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 and yes, our Intuition play a huge difference in a reading. I'm only a student, I am not a professional reader. These I find are some of the more risky interpretations to do, but let’s just say the Sun is also very special card for me too as a parent.
