if im not mistaken, the original word is called long black. americano is only in america and ice coffee can mean anything, ice latte? ice mocha? ice long black? its all coffee.
australia imports their coffee beans but we have a lot of our own coffee roastery that's why its different. we also take coffee brewing seriously, thats why coffee tastes different if u go to different cafes, each have their own unique tastes.
fun fact: this is why Starbucks failed in australia, its because we already have our own coffee industry.

Makes you ill in what way? Some people don't react well to caffeine, but that can show itself through various ways. Headaches and diarrhea are the most common ones as far as I know. Still, that can also be due to the body not being used to it, since it is like a drug after all.

But also there is a difference between brewed coffee and espresso. 4 cups of coffee probably is referring to brewed coffee. When I was a barista, my boss explained it me like this in how caffeine is released into the body ...brewed coffee is like an extended release pill and espresso is like an IV drip straight into your bloodstream.
The effects of caffeine in brewed coffee are more delayed and lasts longer and the effects of caffeine in espresso are more immediate and lasts for a shorter time.
Also, an iced Americano and an iced Coffee are two different drinks. An Americano uses espresso and hot water or in the iced Americano the espresso is either poured over the ice or added before the ice (I have heard the arguments both ways) then additional cold water.
Iced coffee is just brewed coffee with ice. Then you can go another route with cold brew.

Long black or Espresso can taste different depend on the Baristas technique and Coffee type, Jae
So basically many long black will taste different and have their own special taste depend on those two. My favourite long black would be the one taste caramelized (slightly burn but sweet) than a fruity one😋 Fruity have the sour taste which i don't really like, but it's the most prominent taste and it's kinda strong.

8 ounces is the size of the classic US coffee mug. 2/3rd the size of a standard (US) soda can. Restaurants that serve coffee (as opposed to coffee shops that serve food) will typically have cups this size. Expressed in metric, 8oz is 236.5ml. Does that help?

LOL 2:35 an americano is made by pouring espresso first then water while a long black is made pouring water first then the espresso shot. Essentially both are the same drinks so they should technically taste the same (??)
i think what they were reading is about orriginally made coffee (i mean without the water added to it! coz iced coffee has 80% of it water!)

I'm definitely addicted to caffeine because of how my body reacts so i tried to reduce to 1 cup, now i'm getting headaches. But water is saving me.
But iced americano and iced coffee are not the same thing!! loll at least not in America haha. Iced Coffee is just drip coffee but cold. And Iced Americano is a shot of coffee (or more) mixed with hot water. Unless Korea makes their iced americano's different then in America but idk...what do you guys think?
