Man, Hinata has a dope story. If you watch the documentary series, you will see why. Her duality is crazy though. Her off stage and her onstage are two different people. She's the artsy one, shy, but the backbone of the group (the dad as she's called). Not gonna give it away, but during an emotional part of the documentary she gives 2 "speeches", one where she talks about herself compared to others and one where she's talking about a member who was let go. I don't care how hardcore, gangsta or tough you are, when Hinata gets emotional it makes you emotional, PERIOD!!! She's the glue, not flashy, not always in the camera, but one they all depend on, especially in the music. She's my fav because of her entire package, not just vocal or dance skill.
Hinata struggled with singing in English the most out of the members. So they basically decided to keep her singing parts small but still have her be on every song. Then with Winter Without You, the Losing You cover and Woke Up we've seen a new Hinata emerge. Fast forward to now where she sings full English songs all by herself on their world tour and her English pronunciation has gotten way better. Her solo cover that she did recently of Avril Lavigne's Complicated for instance is amazing.
I think the docu-series explains why Hinata is in the position she’s in. She’s comfortable being a complimentary member of the group. But her voice is amazing.

Dear Ronin, I really enjoy your videos about XG. In this girl group, you can't place anyone above the others, they are all amazing. Of course, everyone can have their favorite, but even that is not easy. When people ask me, I usually say that my favorite is whoever the camera is showing at the moment. But if I wanted to be truly honest, I would say the vocalists. When Chisa, Juria, and Hinata sing, the stars in the sky fade away because their voices shine in their place. I get goosebumps from head to toe when they sing. If I were younger, I’d be in love with all three of them. Naturally, I love the XG rappers too, they’re all shining stars, unique and irreplaceable. Regarding VOX#1, I would add that they were both extremely young at the time. Chisa is the oldest in the entire XG group and is almost three years older than Juria. Hinata's natural vibe is to play the back. She's not a very outspoken person. She has star talent but she's happy being the rock of the group. They actually call her the Dad of the group because she's so dependable. And strong. 😂😂😂 She's shines in the Vox vids she's in so you'll get some peak Hinata coming up. Hinata's adlibs in SS. Kills me every time! Yes, Hinata is kind of the oddball of the group. At first, she wouldn't talk to the other girls. She was intimidated because she thought they all looked like models. She didn't even really know what she was auditioning for. Her dance teacher just told her to try. I think it may be time for you to check out the documentary series. Its really good!👊🐺✌️
Simon noticed Hinata for her eyes. There's a spark in her that he wanted so much to come out. Each new drop Hinata seems to be the one to look out for. She reminds me of Rosé from BlackPink a little, Very modest and artsy but when she did her singles, she kind of elevated herself as being a musician's artist.

over the course of XG releases you can see Hinata gain so much presence in her performances. She is definitely on the introverted side. She definitely hold her own during choreography moments, the faces and sharp movements with snappy moves and poses she is a beast. also she gets her moment to shine in Vox 6 Losing You. Her warm vocal tone is always a great complement to Chisa and Juria's voices. they performed a trio in live versions of Peaches that is to die for
Can't wait for u to get into the docu series, also i think there wont be any spoilers of songs until like episode 6 and one of them is shooting star which u already heard the other 3 songs is Left right, tippy toes & mascara that will be spoiled in the docu series. Hinata is a country girl while the other ones are from big cities. She admired the other girls and lacked confidence even tho she's very good too. I don't know if you've seen the XTRA XTRA documentary but they talk about it and you can also see her parents in it.

These 2 on Peaches were still babies when they made this, Chisa around 19 and Juria 17. This was before they even debuted but as long as you go in order, you can see their progress in such a short span of 2 years. Hinata will eventually get her spotlight, but she's waiting for that right moment.
Hinata wasn't comfortable in her english to do more. She progressed more in LEFT RIGHT. She did more in Losing You(FLO) she also sings more in her concerts. The Peaches VOX HINATA does live with JURIA AND CHISA.

Yeah the whole monitor and gaming is relatable, years ago had my PlayStation and Xbox hooked up to a projector in my bedroom, a 108” screen made RPG gaming a whole lot more difficult though reading the subtitles was easier lol
Yeah to be fair I got it knowing that I would get into content creation so I knew would need a monitor with plenty of space on the screen. However, the area in which I have my setup is so small I don't have the room to back off of the monitors so it's so close to my face. In the Vox she looks like Chisa's sister and has that popular pretty girl vibe and other videos she had Black hair and bangs and looks plain but very cute and innocent girl next door and I dont if you've seen the Tik Tok video dancing to and clapping to Beyonce where she is wearing mom clothes with glasses on. I have a hard time picking the best voice. Once Hinata is more comfortable with her English, i think she might have the best voice. BTW, I have no favorite out of the group. To me, she's a top 3 dancer and possibly the best vocalist. Listen to all of her solo vocals.

That said, her fans (and she has a LOT of them!) always want to hear more of her. 2.) Juria: She's 19 and turns 20 at the end of November this year (Chisa turns 23 in January). She was probably 17 when Peaches was shot, maybe even end of 16 when depending how long before debut it was shot (Chisa probably was 19 or just turned 20 at the time). You probably don't recognize because not only is she younger, she's also got the bare forehead. For quite a while from Mascara to about Undefeated she was sporting bangs most of the time (there's a segment of the Alphaz that are "free the forehead" fanatics). As far as future VOXs go, I'd say there's a few options: 1.) Go through them sequentially and enjoy the progression naturally (there's 5 to go) 2.) Do 2, 3, 4 if you want to see each one individually perform a full song 3.) If you want to experience more Hinata, then do 4, 5, 6 as you'll get her individual as well as some individual snippets and the banger that is VOX 6.
Bro what I would say about the two you talking about singing vocals is that they are both equal the way I see it is that in one song she out shine and then the Next song the other one will out shine the other there's nothing wrong to love both of them just like your children you love them equally anyway that's how I would say just my opinion 👍
This performance is also different from the live stage and MV in that normally the choruses are lead by specific members (1st: Hinata -> Jurin, 2nd: Maya -> Cocona, final: Jurin -> Harvey), whereas this performance they do it 3-7 members unisono each time.

Fyi, it’s a one take live recording! Any mistakes would be recorded.. thus the name The First Take. Vox series should be done in order, but if you’re going to do them by sections, you should do 2-4 first (already did #1 here), one for each of the 3 vocalists.
Those days where u don't have that much energy and time, you could maybe limit the videos length and just do a single reaction to something and then do longer videos other days when u have the time and can manage it mentally, if you could push out at least 2 videos a week it would be a lot better for your channel growth
OK. Juria was young, pre-debut. Dont need to keep harping on it. Chisa and Juria were still learning to speak English and yet they did a very fine job getting the lyrics right without slipping in a Japanese accent. You have no idea just hoe difficult it is for Native Japanese speakers to speak English without an accent. Except for Maya, already fluent in English, the other girls were still learning English and Korean at the same time, with the realization that their concept, global girl group, was to sing in English as fluently as possible. Conversing in English is still difficult for them, They speak Korean fluently since they were living and training in Korea. Add in non stop vocal, language lessons and dance training. Social isolation from friends and family. That is a terrible burdon for teen girls. There are three introverts, Hinata, Cocona and Harvey. Harvey and Hinata are almost painfully introverted in private. Four extroverts, Jurin, Juria, Maya and Chisa. Chisa and Maya are so extroverted that they could power the world sometimes. This world tour has begun to open Hinata up on stage while performing. She is more engaging with her solos, and just eating up her parts in IYKYK. Juria and Chisa are powerhouse vocalists, Hinata is not anywhere near those two vocally, few idols are, but she still has a pleasnt enough voice to shine for her parts and stage solos.

Your focusing too much on trying to justify what you think is off about Hinata, no need, watch her when they are onstage, she's very present. Gotta remember, these girls are all models and dancers too, HInata has a very photogenic energy when she's performing in front of an audience. It seems like this kind of stuff is just a day at the office for her, it doesn't excite her (you see her attention wane during group interviews too), but put her in front of a crowd and she lights up.

This performance is also different from the live stage and MV in that normally the choruses are lead by specific members (1st: Hinata -> Jurin, 2nd: Maya -> Cocona, final: Jurin -> Harvey), whereas this performance they do it 3-7 members unisono each time.

Those days where u don't have that much energy and time, you could maybe limit the videos length and just do a single reaction to something and then do longer videos other days when u have the time and can manage it mentally, if you could push out at least 2 videos a week it would be a lot better for your channel growth

OK. Juria was young, pre-debut. Dont need to keep harping on it. Chisa and Juria were still learning to speak English and yet they did a very fine job getting the lyrics right without slipping in a Japanese accent. You have no idea just hoe difficult it is for Native Japanese speakers to speak English without an accent.
Except for Maya, already fluent in English, the other girls were still learning English and Korean at the same time, with the realization that their concept, global girl group, was to sing in English as fluently as possible. Conversing in English is still difficult for them, They speak Korean fluently since they were living and training in Korea. Add in non stop vocal, language lessons and dance training. Social isolation from friends and family. That is a terrible burdon for teen girls.
There are three introverts, Hinata, Cocona and Harvey. Harvey and Hinata are almost painfully introverted in private. Four extroverts, Jurin, Juria, Maya and Chisa. Chisa and Maya are so extroverted that they could power the world sometimes. This world tour has begun to open Hinata up on stage while performing. She is more engaging with her solos, and just eating up her parts in IYKYK. Juria and Chisa are powerhouse vocalists, Hinata is not anywhere near those two vocally, few idols are, but she still has a pleasnt enough voice to shine for her parts and stage solos.

Your focusing too much on trying to justify what you think is off about Hinata, no need, watch her when they are onstage, she's very present. Gotta remember, these girls are all models and dancers too, HInata has a very photogenic energy when she's performing in front of an audience. It seems like this kind of stuff is just a day at the office for her, it doesn't excite her (you see her attention wane during group interviews too), but put her in front of a crowd and she lights up.
