Version 2.0 Beta
A mod that returns almost every cut content from Need for Speed Most Wanted (2005). People saw a lot of things that were changed during the development of this game. This mod restores a huge amount of beta content from all available sources that we have. Beta cars, races, menus, cops, etc.
New version introduces tons of changes, most notable of which are User Interface / HUD related, world map edits, return of trackmaps for races, and many other things.

Interesting that the betas presentation, visuals and audio feels a lot more like Underground 1/2, it has that same dark and illicit feel while the release version is bright and bombastic.

Sounds like a Chevy Tahoe, where is that glorious flat plane crank V8 sound?
Fun fact: this was the e3 sound of the BMW M3 GTR that was supposed to be in the game howerer they changed It into TVR Cerbera or Real Life BMW M3 GTR sound
Note:that the E3 sound of the BMW M3 GTR was based off Porsche 928 infact in some game files there is "por_928" folder

not sure if it's intended, but world map header text in map fng isn't all caps (opm demo has all caps)
The UI menus in the beta looks a lot more cleaner than the final game, and I love it.

@@pwad it’s mentioned that Ford company or the US law enforcement didn’t agree with the crown vic license to copy it for EA into their game because of violence and crashing cop cars, in the beta crashing cop cars would even explode that’s why they changed it completely in the final version.

NFSMW beta version has obvious problems with LOD detailing and texture streaming, since textures are loaded with a delay.

Those are called Contrails, they were actually in Most Wanted PS2, Xbox, Gamecube and Xbox 360 versions. For some reason, they didn't include it in the PC version officially. So modders added it back in

It's a result of different visual filter settings. Just use Beta Visuals mod instead

Is there a way to revert back to vanilla textures for the main category in the installer in BCM? There were also other categories that defaulted to "Late Beta" if you didn't select them, but I wanted to keep those vanilla as well. If I wanted to go back manually and edit them back to vanilla, where would I need to go into my game directory and replace them?

Hello! I tried to install HD UI on mod and it's broke fonts. As I get it there's no way to use HD Ui with BCM? Thanks in advance!
P.S. I using Xbox Series Controller and have this question since 2017 - in MW05 on PC there is a function of vibration ON on controller but it's not infuence and it's does not work. There's any chance to make this function work?
