Thanks for the great lesson! Im doing something similar in my takeaway. I’m 76, and of course lost a lot of distance over the decades, lol. If it’s not too personal, I was wondering how far you hit your drives on average these days, and what length courses you play. I’m considering moving up to the forward tees as my drives average from about 210 to220, and Im looking to diminishing distance if I’m fortunate enough to maintain my health. Thanks.
Swing looks really good Tony. I'm 76 and use that same take away but I play the ball off my back toe. I swing inside to out aiming at the inside corner of the ball. I have more power and distance. Find your swing and you did.
For one particular shot or for all in general? Overall-make your top hand stronger (turn it to the right a bit-keeping your right hand in the same NOT turned under. Next play the ball only slightly back an inch or two (play with that) and third-keep the same swing but leave more weight on the left foot through the ball. Also fool around with standing just slightly farther away from the ball without jeopardizing your swing balance.
Thanks for all your advice, I'm 51 just started playing 4 years ago , I shoot about 92 to 100 never took a lesson ,my hardest thing is to find my low point with my irons I'm always inconsistent 2 good ones 4 fat ones 2 good ones 2 thin ones is there anything a trick or special tip to help me stay in the same spot in my low point thank you so much for your help Tony from Pittsburgh pa
Do you address the ball the same for each club? Or do you change ball position as you change clubs? Experiment with your your legs straighter at address (I don’t know you but) having your legs less bent at address will keep you on a better swing plane. What are your misses? Check out the video FIX YOUR SWING DURING YOUR ROUND.
Thank you for your fast response.! I use the same length irons from cobra for the last year and a half I thought might help me from hitting behind ball or thinning the ball, my uncle said I'm standing up and trying to watch the ball b4 I hit the ball ,maybe I'm not staying in the shot all the time ,I'm going to watch your video you just told me to watch, thank you for trying to help me I know it's hard to evaluate a swing without seeing it wish I could hit them like you !! Going to watch your video now thank u Tony your videos are helpfull your buddy Tony from pgh,pa

What advice would you give to lower your ball flight

Interesting tip. Will try it out at the range - hope I will see the same result as you.
Start with 3/4 wedge shots. Until you get used to the feel of the shot the shorter clubs will help you get consistent with it.
