This song was written to be used with this movie, don't you think ? :)
The video speaks for itself. I made this in 3 days (I know, I'm so slow, and for what?), and aimed at describing the evolution of Bilbo and Thorin's relationship. This song was the perfect choice to focus on both of them and on their growing friendship (ALL THE FEELS!!)
I know this song is probably gonna be used a lot on UA-cam with "The Hobbit" but I wanted my own version, since I couldn't get this song out of my head.
Anyway... Here it is!

I don't really know what to think about "Bagginshield" as a slash, but THIS is definitely THE most canon way of describing the relationship between Bilbo and Thorin. The exile King fighting for the home of his kin... and then Bilbo and his persistent courage - a true Lionheart. The editing on this video made the song even more amazing.
I was crying throughout the whole thing, starting from the first chorus and then sobbing my way through the rest of it... it's beautiful. Kudos.

Let’s face it, The Hobbit doesn’t offer much slash material, but the balance between actual storyline and relationship development is just perfect. And it still stayed perfectly canon! I love how there are all these other great scenes from the movie and then of course the scenes where Bilbo defends Thorin from the orc, fantastic cutting! Thanks for this amazing video, I got a little tear in the corner of my eye.
This is the first Hobbit Fanvideo I saw and it’s one the best ‘shipping’ videos I’ve ever seen. Usually most of the fanvideos don’t get me, because they are just a song with nice scenes of the characters, but this one just fits.
I actually clicked it, because I love the song and I think I’ll never be able to listen to it without thinking of this video.
The scenes and lyrics fit just perfectly, it’s really rare that they both make up the story of a video. tbc

I do see the problem with the fuzzy pixel squares, but I didn't notice it so much. This video is probably one of the best of this shipping so far. I thank you for this video, it truly is beautiful aside from the small pixels. Then again, everything has flaws, so it's all good. The coloring especially is great. I think the slowed down section is my favorite and the clip is perfect for when it speeds up again. Kudos.

Also, this song/video reminded me how brave hobbits really are. If you think about it, Bilbo and LotR-hobbits kinda lack the majestetic,brave and reckless attitude the dwarves have but they ARE brave, hobbits ARE true LIONHEARTS - they just need that little push. When Thorin was in danger, Bilbo didn't hesitate a second to save him - and he really doesn't know how to fight but he didn't think about it. His friend was in danger and was his duty to help him. That's why Gandalf trusts in hobbits.
