Robert Babicz started his musical career under the Rob Acid moniker in 1992 and this triple 12“ vinyl pack is a compilation of 12 of his most essential tracks of all times. In this bundle you can find the iconic club tracks like „Homeless Part 1“ and „Android“, rare material like „Herz aus Gold“ Rob released on Force Inc. and his melodic acid UK chart hit „Happy answer“. But also Rob´s collaboration with Marc Romboy „Wall of sound“ and of course the deep, dark and pumping Detroit techno influenced „Acid Warrior“.
This vinyl package was drafted in collaboration between Rob, Marc Romboy and their Marotopia community who were responsible for the tracklisting and name of this release.

Super Track! Seit ich als Teenager irgendwann in den 90ern das erste Mal bei VIVA einen Kerl mit einer TR-606 und einer TB-303 gesehen habe hat mich der Acid-Sound nicht mehr losgelassen. Mit dem ersten Gehalt nach der Ausbildung habe ich dann die ersten eigenen Versuche mit einer Electribe gestartet. Über diverse Anschaffungen, immer wieder mal Hobbyaufgabe oder Zwangsverkäufe wegen Scheidung etc. habe ich nun mit 41 Jahren im X-ten Anlauf wieder das Thema Musikproduktion für mich entdeckt. Der Kerl bei VIVA damals warst du. Vielen Dank für deine Inspiration und Musik! ❤

Das nächste Monster von Acid Techno neben Acid Bites. Gerade erst in der Videobeschreibung gelesen, dass die Monster digital und auf Vinyl zu haben sind. Besonders geil finde ich die VÖ auf Vinyl. Dann steht einer Rückkehr der Tracks im Tresor oder Berghain ja nichts mehr im Wege. Freu ich mich drüber.
