I’ve tried both what you said in the video plus L1+RT and both stick down and it doesn’t work. Am I missing something? Does it all have to be at the same time?
@@nicdonnay1931 it works for me only if you skate towards your net (or from the opponent's goalie) just release both sticks to start gliding and L1+R2...still need to figure out how to make this deke anywhere on the ice (from any direction):-//
To kucherov you stride deke toward your backhand and at the same time you pull you’re stick back to the forehand you have to play with position and timing though
informative video. thanks for sharing. someone else eluded to the kucherov. its not listed in nhl24 controller settings but i like doing it. approach angle is important. make it greater than 45deg approach angle helps. stride deke backhand side then r analog opposite direction (forehand direction). its a 1, 2, 3 timing deke. did they get rid of these dekes: ? There are 2 board side slip dekes which nobody uses. also a backhand loose puck sidestep deke (opposite to the forehand) which nobody uses. also the old lemieux forehand drag but backhand to inside skate between the legs (very similar to the between the legs at 2:29 but diff animation) which nobody uses.

What do you want to know? I am no veteran, just played for like 2 years or so, mostly against CPU. Online games in Ultimate Team are a real pain to be honest but aside from that online in World of Chel Ones (this is a game mode) I am doing okay. Maybe I can help. I play on PS5. Why skill stick? I mean on 24 I get it cause of the reverse hit getting in the way of dangling/shooting I used skill stick also but in 25 they removed it so whats the cons?

I give credit to the kid who is doing the video buuuuut EA NHL all the way back to NHL 18 Sucks. every year it looks and plays like the last and they take out a features after they release and reintroduce it in a later year as something new. Like the skating in this version. And they claim to fix the AI and never do. I stopped buying this shit you should to so some other dev can make it better. Stop buying this game!

Is skill stick the hybrid controls?
Holding the puck on the far forehand hit the L1 and stick from 10 to 12 o’clock or 3-12 with other forehand does a side step
