To be honest, I can understand why some people confuse what he said, as ham hock isn't really well known amongst younger people. I'm surprised it is even called that anywhere outside of the UK.
It's wild to think Jim Johnston put this together having no idea it would go on to be what is probably the most iconic piece of music in wrestling history. For all anyone knew, the gimmick would flop and Mark Callaway would be back in WCW in a year or two. I don't mean that as a slight on Mark's abilities, but sometimes something great doesn't work out for whatever reason. Still, Jim's music was so perfect for the character and played a role in The Underaker getting over. As I got older, I would always go to school dressed in black, and If kids picked on me, or wanted to fight, I would always tell them that if they messed with me they would Rest In Peace. I even once tombstoned a kid on the concrete basketball court. And after that no one ever wanted to fight me again.

this song bro..... just gives me chills. I always like to think of "what if Taker was a final boss fight in video games?" and I mean in other games than just wrestling games, I feel like Taker phase 1 would be his current theme, starting the fight with the iconic *GONG*. and then having just Taker fight you, phase 2 would his 2003 biker theme to let you know he's serious now and that "you're gonna pay", phase 3 would be Taker all out with his ministry theme where the fight only gets harder, and lastly, phase 4 would be this one where you know it's the end, Taker, still fighting, is starting to crumble, just hold out a little longer. just my thoughts
I was just thinking about that, but that would just foreshadow him retiring after that match, but would be good to use this intro if he told the public that it would be his last match no matter the result
33 years ago this man made his debut at the 1990 Survivor Series as The Million Dollar Man's mystery tag team partner. This man's presence was felt by everyone in the arena that night that big things were going to become WWF champion almost a year later. This man is truly legendary!!!!
The undertaker is awesome wrestler and I hope that he's getting into the WWE hall of Fame this year!!!! 2022 is his big year and he'll be 57 years old on March 24th!!!!
He's the only true wrestler, unlike legends like the rock,Stone Cold and HBK, Undertaker stayed by Vince's side thinking his time would come but the ones i just mentioned came and left over and over again they are nothing like the undertaker.

“Led to the ring, by his manager, Brother Love. Weighing in a 320 pounds, from Death Valley, I give you, The Undertaker! Hahahahahahaha!” ~Ted Dibiase, Survivor Series 1990
this song bro..... just gives me chills.
ARGUABLY ONE OF THE BEST THEME SONGS OF ALL TIME BY ONE OF THE BEST WRESTLERS IN ALL OF PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING THE PHENOM THE UNDERTAKER!!!
Would be pretty cool if they brought this back for his last match
I was just thinking about that, but that would just foreshadow him retiring after that match, but would be good to use this intro if he told the public that it would be his last match no matter the result
mikeykm1993 I just want Taker to wear the old gray/purple gloves one more time.
+uncbb89 I want the grey or 1997 attire
hope he does not retire today
vine he retired at wrestlemania 33
UBP Ghoul yeah sad rip G.O.A.T
33 years ago this man made his debut at the 1990 Survivor Series as The Million Dollar Man's mystery tag team partner. This man's presence was felt by everyone in the arena that night that big things were going to become WWF champion almost a year later. This man is truly legendary!!!!
The Undertaker has Always been my Favorite Character in the Industry and I will always show Love and Respect for him
A legendary theme song for a legendary man.
I love the rawness of the first version, never equaled
This sound likes if People Are Going To His Funeral And this Theme plays
Thank you Taker. You truly were seen as more than human. Greatest wrestler of all time... You were definitely something else
The undertaker is awesome wrestler and I hope that he's getting into the WWE hall of Fame this year!!!! 2022 is his big year and he'll be 57 years old on March 24th!!!!
He's the only true wrestler, unlike legends like the rock,Stone Cold and HBK, Undertaker stayed by Vince's side thinking his time would come but the ones i just mentioned came and left over and over again they are nothing like the undertaker.
the rock and austin didn't leave either during the monday night wars if thats what you mean, undertaker also came from WCW prior to his WWF debut
thank you for all the years. undertaker the biggest legend of wrestling 😟
I love his first theme its so powerful and mesmerize
The Greatest of All-time

Undertaker 1990-96 was actually scary even as an adult you’d think he’d pop in the darkness of your home.
