Super kick ass twist on the Big Banger! Looks amazing and has given me some great ideas for some future builds. Thanks for another killer build. You never disappoint and your channel is what got me wanting to start restomodding some of my diecasts I had thought about changing but wasn't sure how to do it better. It's been almost 40 years since I did any custom work to one. A very heartfelt thank you for getting me back into my first love.
This was my favorite matchbox when was a kid, I can't resist to buy one when I see one! I even modelled it in3d to make a big one, did not print it yet! I didn't think it could have a video online about it, nice job and nice channel!😉
Your cars always look closer to the rendition drawings of these cars then the production versions. I wonder if any of the car designers watch your channel? They should! Keep up the good work.
Beautiful looking car you have there sir. I'm just getting into customizing and restoration of some diecast cars I have. The little tips I'm learning from your channel and others will be a huge help to me. Thank you for sharing.
It's like a 1:64 scale Muscle Machines. I like it! But seriously #Phrasing. Between "seeing how the stripper works", "there is our big blower", and my personal favorite, "if I try to stick this back in there, we're just to tight right now, so I'm gonna open it up a bit more", this episode of full of gems.
Frankenbanger! My childhood friend had a Big Banger with the loose engine and the Brown Sugar with the engine intact. Loved watching this custom restore. Brought back many memories of those days. Thanks.
Great work again, you take a car that is ready for the trash and you turn it into brand new car....I love your videos, you make them interesting and explain what you are doing. Thanks for another quality video 👍🏻👍🏻
What does this classic Hot Wheels Big Banger also remind me of? The MASK toy car; which is the VENOM Stinger, it's Bruno Shepherd's combat tank. Bruno Shepherd's combat tank is disguised as the Pontiac GTO.
Wow. I’ve never been a big fan of the cars with exaggerated huge engines, but this is freakin awesome!!! I love the green paint with the blue windshield. It should be named Leonardo.
I think you did an absolutely stellar job again! Don’t worry about the naysayers. It’s your hobby, if they don’t like it then ,let them try and do better, And we’ll see what they can do.
Excellent transformation. Love these old matchbox cars. I have some mint originals of this casting in my collection. It looks like a modern recreation of a classic. Fantastic work. Really dig your channel man!
I feel your pain on those tail stripes. I just did an IROC set of 4 67 Road Runner slot car bodies and put the tail stripes on them....what a chore! Thanks for sharing!
Lol, NEVER get tired of watching you work, your vids are highlight of my grueling workday slinging baggage for an airline, gonna get one of your hoodies on payday, thanx for what you do!
I must admit I had my doubts about this car when you started but the result was excellent. One of my favorites so far. Great bodywork on the hood and I love the color choice.
@@Up_Front_Fanatic it went out of print I think in like1991.BUT!!!! a few years ago. A guy has started it back up and it's as good now as it was back then even George Trolley is one of the artist.as well as in some issues Nelson Dewy even orig artist Fred Boatman was too but sadly he passed away about 8 months ago. I have all the new issues their on #21. There is a website. www.cartoonsmag.com You can find issues in Walmart, Borders Books, Books A Million. And other retailers.
Bro, you seriously give me the motivation to sit in my chair and watch UA-cam all day. Between you, and watching scimandan destroy flat earthers, I get absolutely nothing done, and 0 shame. Thank you.
I can't believe you made one of those things look epic ! I always hated those matchbox 'big banger' things and would have much preferred just a muscle car version, but you sir have improved one. I didn't think it possible. My hat is off to you.
The Ninja Turtle Battle Charger! That green is wicked and spot on to a killer Mopar car. You did a ton of work and we are all becoming more and more impressed with you skill set. Remember kids...The Foot Stinks!
I had a Cosmic Blues variant of this car as a kid. Back then I had no idea why the engine is so big and thought it makes no sense, because nobody would see with such a thing sticking up front. Nobody in my family was a car person, so nobody explained this to me until it was too late (the toy went missing years before I finally understood). Awful shame I don't have it now, would be a PERFECT restoration for me to learn all the basics. Funnily enough, having this car as a kid also explains why I immediately knew 1968 Charger is the prettiest muscle car ever when I first saw one. And it remains my fav to this day.
I've watched this one at least 5 times now... i really enjoyed this and the car came out great. I come for the commentary... stay for the restoration ;)
WOW, what a difference. I love the paint job. Love that Mopar green paint and the RT stripe on the back. Very sweet. The motor looks good too. Greetings from Ontario. I watch all your videos and get a laugh from your Blub blues....tell Preacher Dan to go easy on Jimmy....lol
That is just awesome .... you could've gone the Daytona route a and done the ol droop snoot and the wing on the back, but this is just perfect as it is , and the blue windshield adds a nice contrast to that Sublime paint job , fantastic as always Ace 👍💚
Sorry for the late upload fam!!! I worked really hard on this and tried to get it out on time..
Diecast Resurrection what paint stripper do you use
better have late upload then no video
Hey we all have those days

The thing turned out so good! I can't believe it was mine.
Now you gotta talk him into getting it back lol
Noah ReynoldsRiding nice profile pic

You did that car proud my man, can't wait for new builds. Take it easy!!
You need the right tool for the right job... You nailed it on this one. Keep em coming
The model is fun, but man, your work is so clean. Those close ups at the end. Well done.
Super kick ass twist on the Big Banger! Looks amazing and has given me some great ideas for some future builds. Thanks for another killer build. That thing is awesome mate well done
That was a fun project :D
This was my favorite matchbox when was a kid, I can't resist to buy one when I see one! I even modelled it in3d to make a big one, did not print it yet! I didn't think it could have a video online about it, nice job and nice channel!😉
Awesome !!! That windshield looks great in there !!! Great job Man!!!
Your cars always look closer to the rendition drawings of these cars then the production versions. I wonder if any of the car designers watch your channel? They should! Keep up the good work.
Very cool! Great job, man! I had a Big Banger when I was a kid. It brings back some good memories! Thank you
Beautiful looking car you have there sir. I'm just getting into customizing and restoration of some diecast cars I have. The little tips I'm learning from your channel and others will be a huge help to me. Thank you for sharing.
I love that colour, really fun build to watch would be cool if there were more cars in that line that could get the diecast restoration treatment 👍
Yea i didn't know they existed, this was my first one i've seen!
Very nicely done!. Your hard work really paid off with this one.
Now THAT's a custom. You went all out on this one. Cool video.
Another great creation. Love the blue windows with the green paint job. What a ride.
Great work. If you still have that old studebaker cab from a couple months ago you should do a rat rod. That'd be cool
It's like a 1:64 scale Muscle Machines. I like it!
But seriously #Phrasing. Between "seeing how the stripper works", "there is our big blower", and my personal favorite, "if I try to stick this back in there, we're just to tight right now, so I'm gonna open it up a bit more", this episode of full of gems.
made it look better than an original. Better details and a cleaner engine & hood install
I think the blue window makes it look even more badass.great job man ! Keep up the great work👍
Frankenbanger!
My childhood friend had a Big Banger with the loose engine and the Brown Sugar with the engine intact. Loved watching this custom restore. Brought back many memories of those days. Thanks.
What an epic build, I had one of these as a kid.
The green looks incredible, huge like!!! 👍
I'm a Mopar guy and I dig it, the green and blue really compliment each other.. I'm slowly catching back up on your videos been a minute.
Badass. Sublime green is one of the coolest colors ever.
Great body work and another great paint job! I really enjoy your customizing skills.
What a great resto / fantastic when i jump in and drive it home .

This is great! Maybe one of my favourites of your customs. Looks amazing given what it started as. Love watching your channel dude.
Looks absolutely amazing!!! Better than the original, that's for sure.
Wow all that hard work , and it certainly came out great.
All the best.
Best one so far, hood looks great.
You should get white, black, and gray mixing sticks so whatever color primer you use you will be able to mix your colors to a perfect shade you want
Or just prime a bunch of sticks
Great work again, you take a car that is ready for the trash and you turn it into brand new car....I love your videos, you make them interesting and explain what you are doing. Thanks for another quality video 👍🏻👍🏻

Love the paint and the wheels are perfect. Sweet revamp!!
Wow. I’ve never been a big fan of the cars with exaggerated huge engines, but this is freakin awesome!!!

Really dig your channel man!
Thanks Andy, I like doing odd creations the most!
I have one that is also missing the motor, I may fill the hood in and make a Daytona wing for it
It would be awesome!
can you record it
That would be sick post it on ur channell
Hmmm.. Awesome piece of Mopar Madness! it looks like a Muscle Machine, especially with those wheels.. you could say its looking.. Sublime.. haha
Haha i said that too
One of your best by far Austin! You continue to amaze. The stripes look great and compliment the exhaust. Your efforts (and humor) are apprieciated!
I feel your pain on those tail stripes. I just did an IROC set of 4 67 Road Runner slot car bodies and put the tail stripes on them....what a chore! Thanks for sharing!
I think the blue windshield makes the green pop even more. I like it man.
Nice job, excellent paint choice. You work magic into those cars. Thanks for sharing enjoy your hard work
Lol, NEVER get tired of watching you work, your vids are highlight of my grueling workday slinging baggage for an airline, gonna get one of your hoodies on payday, thanx for what you do!
I must admit I had my doubts about this car when you started but the result was excellent. One of my favorites so far. Great bodywork on the hood and I love the color choice.
Really great video Man!!!! I love all your restoration and customs!!
Dude that was so awesome, reminded me a car out of CARtoons Magazine. I loved the Blue Windshield. totally went with the whole package.
Scott Turner CARtoons, is that still in print?
