To me it seems simple. Simplify the playbook. Prioritize plays for the personnel and that includes finding ways to slow the game down for DR. In the post season, fundamental football needs to be prioritized. We can't have sloppy routes, sloppy runs, or sloppy tackling anymore. There is just no excuse.
@ there is a rumor or discussion that Satterfield at other schools had this insanely complicated playbook that would take players multiple years to really understand. So it’s not something that just some practice can fix.
I tried to listen to the podcast today, but I couldn't get past the first 2 minutes. I still can't do anything Huskers. I just feel so sick about it. Just sick.
Traditional thought (according to the football gurus on the radio this morning) is that you don't switch offensive or defensive coordinators while you are still in bowl contention. I would argue that despite the fact that we only need one more win out of 3, we are pretty much no longer in bowl contention. We have had 3 games to get bowl eligible and have only scored 7, 17, and 20 and have not scored over 28 points in any game all season. We will NOT get that magical 6th win with Sattefield involved in any aspect of this team.
I don't think Dylan is irreplaceable he has had potential but not really helping the team now.. He might decide to hit the portal if he feels this isn't going well he will be wanted for sure
It like this, how is grant brix who came here to play with Dylan going to get on the field with a starting rs freshman ahead of him, how do we fix the o line when we have underclassmen starters who are lacking but are starters in the program?
If the receivers are not blocking well on the perimeter, let Malachi Coleman play. He can play the last 3 games and keep his redshirt. Also Alex Bullock blocks better than Nayoor and Banks.
I think Rhule needs to admit that he simply misfired on Satterfield as OC and it's holding him back, get rid of him. He says he'll do anything and whatever it takes, do what must be done.
Rhule has worked with Satterfield everywhere he has went. They ride together, likely will have to get rid of both to get rid of Satterfield. My believe in Rhule was already questionable after blowing a 5-3 start last year. And now it’s happening again. Also he has 0 notable wins throughout his career. 2 ranked wins all time in college football and they were against Navy and East Carolina. After digging deeper I have no faith in this coaching staff. It’s all smooth talking, all trust the process, but no results
It’s cliche to say wins and losses don’t matter but it’s how we play that matters. If you’re a recruit watching a team that only plays with a competitive edge when the spotlight is on, they’re not going to come. Every pass Raiola completes is a miracle throw with a guy all over him. If their coverage is so good the receivers can’t get open then what is the issue? The routes? The receivers? Why can’t the running game get established if the receivers are all covered? Is it a mind set? With the defense I don’t understand what’s going on. Indiana blows them out. They give the offense a chance to win against Ohio State and shut down their running game. Then get blown out by UCLA. I personally don’t care about wins or losses right now. The record doesn’t matter to me. I want to see a team go out and play to their potential every week and if you lose you lose. That attitude is infectious, it brings recruits in, has fans engaged. The wins and playoff potential takes care of itself.
Best case: we scrape 1 more win with the help of the refs. And get blown out in a bowl. Sat gtfo for next season. Worst case: we end 5-7 our 4 and 5 stars transfer, recruits flip, and coaching staff doesn’t change.
I think Rhule plan works if executed. He wants to be a down hill run team, but Sat doesn’t seem to want to be. When they start having success in run game he immediately goes away from it
Dylan’s parents are going to have the biggest say in whether he is developing properly or hits the portal, with hs all the way to youth, the parents gotta believe especially the mom or the kid ain’t playin or stayin,
Come on fellas, Nebraska going 3-0 for the remainder of the season? Not happening. Possible? yes. Probable? no. A bowl game? I won’t be holding my breath for that one, they could go 0-3. We’ve seen this before, the wild inconsistency in all 3 phases of the game does not inspire reasons to believe otherwise. Let’s be reasonable. 🌽
Great show overall guys

Don't they do that in practice?

Can't get much worse offensively. Cut ties now. He's awful.
100%

Coaches don’t make changes usually unless it’s their own job at stake
WE'RE ALL WITH YA HUSKERS! GO BIG RED!

I have a bad feeling Satterfield is retained even after NU goes through the worst-case scenario.
I think Nebraska has to beat a ranked team before I would say they are good enough to even be considered to be a winner.
I think Dylan is more committed than the way everyone is talking about him. Him leaving talk seems premature
Run hook n ladder out of passes in flat. Run tempo under center, averaging better rush yds. Stay in tempo, qb performs better.

So… 3 one score losses with the ball in our hands less than 3 min left. This is going real well with chasing 3

He should hit the portal, Rhule is a fraud
He can't decide for himself?

This team flat out quit at the start of November.
Raiola didn't throw a touchdown in October either.
3-0 LOL
Didn't watch. Let me guess...baseless optimism? Soft on Rhule?
You’re here. Watch.
Offensive Solution:
"I" Formation Bonner and Gabe
Shotgun two back set E. Johnson/Dowdell.
Solved....
