The Murano glass is interesting in Venice. Great to roam the tiny streets there. Take a gondola ride. In Florence, the Uffizi Museum is a must. My wife and I did that same trip to Italy but in reverse for our honeymoon 7 years ago. Rome, Florence, Venice. We watched a gypsy get arrested in Venice. At least that's what our local tour guide called her with disdain in her voice.

He says be careful in Rome they have cut purses and pic pockets..Especially the gypsies from Romania..No hate…They cut your back pocket and your wallet falls out or the purse gets cut and all the stuff falls out..Be careful …A good tactic if you can is to make sone kind of insertion for cash in your shoe soles etc..You should be ok they just banned label grown meat so you’re gonna be eating good!! Venice is beautiful the water ain’t what it used to be but is beautiful they used to have spurs and secret can always under the city into secret chambers ..food is deliscious and expensive..I’d say if you can use Soke and stash cash ..maybe leave coke or silver at the room etc..maybe a couple gold rings and a bracelet but don’t wear it just stash it in your shoes or whatever..even if you stash up masterfully don’t leave nothing ,,have a Cuban knot what we call it in Miami ,,a bunch of ones rolled up I know the currency is different maybe etc but you get my point..if they get a score their most likely to escape than to try to hurt you when you have nothing and they may go to jail ..then you go into your shoes with a multi tool pull out the wax plug break out a roll of five hundred beenos in Benny franklins and your in ..at least that’s my take
I’ve been to Venice, Florence and Rome. Venice is cool and the glass tour is awesome ( bought some 20 years ago ) Florence had the best steak I have EVER had.Rome was very nice but touristy. Hope you have a great time on your trip!!
