Looking at it again, I'm going to guess Oliver-Hart Parr. Hard to tell without a walk around. But thanks for sharing this spot! I share your sense of nostalgia :-)
Anthony Laube I don't like to argue on YT, but I really do think that very few if any 1910's tractors had in-line multicylinder engines like that. Also, it has a light, which was well into the 20's at least. Guess we will agree to disagree :-)
The two door station wagons seem like they're both Opel Rekord P II Caravan (1960-1963). The old Opel station wagons were called Caravans. They're very rare cars to see, especially in the USA. I'd never expect to see one over there. Great video, Keep up the good work!
I love the flat panels of that Chevrolet 3100 truck panels & how it rolls over at the top of the bed. That chevy 3100 needs saved! even as is, she is beautiful. almost 80 yrs old & still STUNNING!!! WISH CHEVROLET WOULD REMAKE IT, USING MODERN TECHNOLOGY, STAYING TRUE TO ITS ORIGINAL FORM!
The coupe was a 1949 Plymouth. And the late 50ish early 60ish white wagon was a 1959 or 60 Rambler American. And the 2 pickup trucks were both 1st 1949 Chevy 5 window. And the other was a 1950-53 Chevy pickup.
Think I located the patch of woods. Wondering how you "happened across it" since it does look like it is deep on private property that is not in a place one would normally be traveling, even by bicycle. Hopefully I'll have an opportunity to go by it, though no good place to park my SUV or truck (truck is a bit loud, so probably not going to use it) near to the woods and see what shape it is in today. I don't have a video camera, so it'd be video or pictures from my cell phone. It really isn't a junkyard in the sense of a place of business as much the "backyard" of a house. And it is heavily vandalized as you can tell by the damage to the windows. The cars probably would have been in better shape if they weren't vandalized.
Was wondering do you have a better description of the location would love to take some cool photos and so you know im only taking photos here's the insta withintheframellc
Pretty cool. That truck was sold from George Chevrolet, they were bought out by Pine Belt Chevrolet only a few years ago. Oh and our number back in the 60's was GI 6 Gibson 6. That FO 3 translates to 363. 3 for the F, 6 for the O and the number 3. FO was for either Foxcroft or Forest exchange. Thanks for the memories.
The two trucks are 52 or 53 trucks because of the side cowls in front of the doors and the fenders 54 trucks had little in dents for the grill to bolt up to 47 -51 had normal flat fenders
Hey Patrick is there any way you could tell me where some abandoned places are me and my friends love to check places like this out but it’s hard to find cool places from our part of New Jersey
if you get off the road a bit in Idaho we have tons of this stuff. my 1941 Chevy pick up body cost 100 bucks. just sold a 1948 I was building to the kid . I found an early 40s WWII surplus munitions carrier Chevy Im looking to purchase complete near Arco IDAHO . my 41 Chevy pick up is on a modified Caprice Classic ex-police car chassis, with 360 mopar. backd up with 727 ttany. I've had over 100 cars trucks. lost count in 1985 after mt 1944 Dodge Blackout. had several backouts Dodge Chevy. Oh the fun Ive had. pepole sometimes feel sorry for my because of my cane Limp and Gimpy way I get round. I smile and say don't feel sorry for I did it runnin and crashing Hot Rods. thanks for the Video.
The green station wagon near the old tractor was either a '58 or "59 Rambler wagon. If I saw the front I could tell the difference. The grill was somewhat different. I had a 59 just like this as my first car in 1974. It was even the same color. I called the color puke green. Paid $50 for the car. Nicely styled with fins in the back and quad headlights. Had an AM tube radio that had to warm up, and vacuum wipers that stalled when you floored it.
That wagon next to the caravan car, and the two door sedan. looked like a 1960 or 61 Rambler. . the two door sedan has some characteristic's of a 60's Studebaker , not too sure, maybe..My dad used to own a collision shop back in the 50's so as a little kid i remember going to junk yards with him for car parts..
The station wagon is an Opel either a Rekord or Kadett early to mid `60s, Station wagons in europe were called caravans in some places @5:40 is a 63 Pontiac GP,-shame to see it in that condition, the white wagon is a `58/59 Rambler not sure of the model, the car in front of it is a Studebaker Scotsman, a low buck model offered from `56-`58, the pickup trucks all lookjed like `48-`54 Chevys and the car on its side by the GP looks to be a Studebaker but I`m not sure. Hope this helps.
The two truck's with split Windows are between 1947-1953 Chevy or GMC, one is a five window other is a three window. The car behind the car on its side is a 1963 to 1965 Pontiac Grand Prix., I would love to have that Plymouth Hood Ornament
I cringed when you said leave it alone, leave it here. Those need to be on the road and used. Each one of them would make an awesome rat rod especially the truck with the company logo on the door. Leaving them to rot is a sin.
Ummmm no. Restoring them, yeah ok sure but molesting completely stock old cars and chopping then up and just destroying them is so stupid. There will never be more of those cars, only fewer, so why don’t u keep them in their original form?
4:00 Opel Rekord P2 (1960 - 1963), 7:23 Opel Rekord P1 (1957 - 1960) how to recognize - steering wheel, hubcaps, small alu plate in the engine department
Hello, I'm from Belgium. I watched your video, good job ! The car you want to know is an OPEL CAPITAN break. Manufactured par GM in Germany. This car was probably coming from Europe in the seventies . Have a good day. Andy Posted january 31 2019
That truck five window cab. The bed sides probably still worth couple hundred dollars. Cab?3 or 4 hundred. The hood ornament off Plymouth 50 bucks!!!😎😇☠️
49/50 Chevy pickup from George Chevy in Freehold. Two Chevy pickups. 49/50 Plymouth coupe. Little wagon looks like an Opel Rekord Caravan from Germany. Thebother little white wagon is a Rambler. Blue car is a Pontiac.
@@NewJerseyOutdoorAdventures Where on millstone rd? I live just off it by 33 and don't know of any junkyards on it but I know of the one off stagecoach
First truck Chevy 52 or 53, had a lever handle on one door and a push button on the passenger side, 53 first year for push button. That's a 216 under the hood, last year for that, early 53, I believe later 53's you could get a 235.
What do you see good at the Opel Rekord ? less rust ? good image ? better materials ? high quality ? The two Opels are in the similarly condition with all other cars !! No difference,.......the same quality !!

The little early 60s station wagon is an Opel, c. 1961-62. The Opel logo is still on the grille. Great video, thanks!

2:43 The chrome is just in amazing condition on that thing, that is mind blowing! Testament to the quality of the work back then.

The small coupe next to the really old, rusty farm tractor is an Opel Kadett c. 1959. My father’s first car was one of those.
Oh wow cool
I love old vehicles. Thank you for sharing
I wish you showed more of the early 1920 s Tractor at the end!
Me too! We prolly could have identified it. I'd put it in the 30's though. :-)

Still good parts left on these cars, that I'm sure some people would definitely want.

thats like an hour away! i need to hear there one of these days

2 Old Opel, germany cars , coupe and wagon

How do you get here????
The little station wagon may be an Opel, in the 60's and 70's, they were an import model from Buick.
Mmmm... rust. I love it.

Many people on this world make gratis a fake propaganda for cars, without those cars to have or at least to drive them !! The Trabant was also good ?
sure! the trabant is the nicest car on the planet..best handling...a lot of horsepower...nice suspension...cool design...less rusty...:D just kidding.
Trabant = made of cardboard. Will rust less in the cardboard parts. It is fun to drive, I tried twice. It always depends on how you look at it.
the first pickup is a 47 - 53 chevy and the second is a gmc from the same years as the other one
I need to save these

the wagons with front end damage were Opel Olympia Caravan wagons.
