He became a millionaire, and both my siblings. I'm still learning to accept wealth into my life. Good thing I have a 25 year old body at age 71

My experience in investing (quite successfully) the last 40+ years has told me, we do need gold and other precious metals as investments/insurance. By your premise, if it is not paying us, it is a liability. Auto insurance, home insurance, health insurance, does not pay us and is a liability, but it is a very necessary part of being a successful investor. Most investments are liabilities until we sell, they are liabilities in our time/efforts.

Been focusing on diversifying my investments lately, even started using My Digital Money to dabble in a crypto IRA. It’s a cool way to mix things up without putting all my eggs in one basket. My highest goal is complete freedom and self determination with the least possible interference from 'gate keepers', or just 'problem people' in general.
There isn’t any verified evidence that Albert Einstein specifically wrote or spoke about compound interest in any of his works or recorded speeches. The idea that he praised compound interest seems to stem from the myth rather than any documented source. The most commonly referenced “quote” about compound interest being attributed to Einstein appears in various forms, but none are backed by primary sources. Einstein’s documented works primarily focus on his theories of physics and other scientific subjects, not financial concepts like compound interest. So, while the idea of Einstein discussing or praising compound interest is widespread, there’s no credible historical evidence that he ever actually did.

Toby, I think there are more than 4 types of wealth. I think that the MOST important type of wealth is MEANING or living with a sense of inspiration. Furthermorre, PRIVACY would be a close second to living an inspired life. In this regard social media is detrimental to privacy. If you study the most wealthy people, they guard their privacy zealously. Last but not least, being able to leave a positive LEGACY, however way you choose to define that, is one of the greatest blessings in this life. Thank you for generously sharing your knowledge. It hurts that I may have to give 50% of my assets to my soon to be ex-wife, but I should be better off in the long run. I agree that numbers three and four are more important than 1 & 2.

Just think, people are working their whole lives with the mindset to spend all of what they make. I can't imagine living like that, but I am pretty sure most people do...
If your not giving money in #3 don't put the first ten to investing put it into playing off your high interest debt it will save you (make you) much more money in the long run

Just one thing I might add, the point about being happy with your lot, essentially not overextending, keeping friends around you who don't have the same habits is quite a negative force. Surround yourself with people who have similar goals.
