FANUC America is proud to introduce the latest in its industry-leading line of painting robots - The all-new FANUC P-40iA compact painting robot. The FANUC P-40iA is an extremely flexible paint robot that offers best-in-class performance, and easily adapts to small lot sizes, new styles, and other modifications, providing manufacturers an affordable and versatile robotic solution for paint operations.
In this demonstration of the robot’s capabilities, the new FANUC P-40iA robot simulates painting motorcycle fuel tanks. The system uses FANUC aux axis control with a table controlled by FANUC’s Purge Motor Box solution. This feature enables part painting with coordinated motion between the robot and the table’s rotation.
The new P-40iA robot boasts a 1,300 millimeter reach and a 5-kilogram payload, while offering a compact arm design that fits into small work areas. It includes a cast aluminum body, purged and pressurized arm, FANUC’s purge module, and integrated solenoid valves for gun trigger. Whether your application calls for liquid, powder, FRP chop or gel, the FANUC P-40iA is ready for any applicator and application equipment, making it a complete solution for your painting needs. Additionally, the robot can be mounted in a variety of positions including floor, invert, wall or angle mounts, benefitting companies that are challenged with small or narrow workspaces. Finally, the P-40iA can be programmed offline using FANUC PaintTool Robot Software, and utilizes FANUC’s latest high-performance R-30iB Mate Plus robot controller.
Since 1982, FANUC designs and builds paint robots in the U.S.A., at FANUC America’s headquarters in Rochester Hills, Michigan. To learn more about the new P-40iA, and FANUC’s full range of industry-leading paint robots, please visit www.fanucameric....

What is this? Laser for demonstration? I'm itnerested in this to be able to teach paint routines easier, is it possible? To validate robot trajectory.
