Scott!! Josh Jacobs has not been injury prone his whole career.. he's probably been one of the least injury prone RBs in the league over the last 6 yrs.. common bro this is an example of letting one year dictate your thinking..
Sounds like the way to go is to buy the guys people assume will be buried in the draft before the draft and the guys people "know" will be buried after the draft due to a day 2 pick
Scott, I think your last years take on WR saturation is going to be the convo next year but for running backs. There can’t be 40 RBs worth a 2nd or more
Love Scott's take on the middling vet RBs...I feel with the rookie class coming in, this is probably the biggest or most important discussion topic of our off-season. Sell vet RBs more than ever before imo
The key to build a dynasty that doesn’t crumple trade off guys before it’s too late but not to early. I sold Levian bell at his peak his next year was the beginning of his end same with Julio Jones you just have to have your finger on the pulse and some foresight. I also flipped Kelce for a fisrt this year which ended up the 101 and kupp last year which ended up the 101 this past year.
I think at the end of the day the RBs that are efficient with the work they get are what the community is going to want for fantasy. I do think there is some game theory and opportunity to look into how these offense function and change with a different RB present. When Josh Jacobs takes a series off and GB trots out Emmanuel Wilson does GB change there run/pass ratio? What formational differences are occurring? Where on the field or what down and distances do these offenses use these RBs? Maybe gives you an edge if you need to fill your last flex spot and you are able to get a Ty Johnson vs Detroit type score from that player.
I made it to the championship in my 12 team SF start 10, 2RBs, 3 WR and 2 flex. Zero RB, used guerrendo, Hunt, Tyrone Tracy and Jordan Mason and a few other cans on and off throughout the year. QBs were Burrow and Nix, WRs were JJ, ARSB, Higgins, Garret Wilson, mcconkey and rashee Rice. I lost to a team that put up the second most points ever scored, league is going into year 5, I can live with that.
I get it, there’s a lot of rb inventory coming, but I’ll say that only maybe three of them will be fantasy relevant imo. I like jeanty singleton Henderson
I’m a contender but feel like there 0% chance Chase browns value increase. This is peak value right now. I really think I should sell him but I am a contender and that’s an awesome addition in a start 10. I’m torn because his value will never be higher.
Went all in and traded my picks this year which led to a championship. My rbs are Henry Montgomery walker Bijan and brooks. Should I consider moving Henry now to get a younger rb option?
Is it lazy analysis to say Odunze got JSN’d? It’s the same OC. I think same issue with few types of routes he’s running? Stuck behind an old vet as WR3?
Bucky trade! I don’t want to disclose what WR I traded to get Bucky this week.😮 On top of that, the possibility of a 3rd RB in Seattle. R.I.P. KWIII. My roster review is going to be harsh!
Imo Bucky is a massive sell atm. Value wise there is almost nowhere for him to go but down. Rb 6 currently on ktc. People are really discounting the possibility of him finding himself in a committee in the future. If I can get Kaleb Johnson + I’m taking it
Still absolutely taking Rome over Bucky. Call me crazy, but from a talent perspective Rome is still a more decorated player than Bucky and Rome's relative "underperformance" this season is easily explained by the clogged WR room ahead of him as well as the dysfunctional team/offense. When he was on the same page as Caleb, which was interestingly enough when a lot of games were coming down to crunch time and final drive, Rome was elite at the catch point and at getting open. Bucky looked awesome last year. But you're possibly buying him at his peak price right now and his shelf life is far, far shorter. If you're win now, maybe you take Bucky over Rome, but honestly I'd take the long-term value unless you're looking to orphan a team ASAP.

Jacobs has averaged 14.8 (adjusted to 15.2 as 2019 & 2020 were still 16 game seasons) games per season. He is definitely not injury prone.
He’s only had 2 seasons where he played every game.
He's played 90 games over the past 6 years.. there are only 3 fantasy relevant RBs with more.. Zeke and Pollard at 95, and Singeltary with 93..
@@Delmiesterand he has more rushing yards than all of them
@@ARealRepublican that’s neat. Him missing games almost every season is probably what plays into some folks thinking he’s “injury prone”.
love the animation extras, Thanks Clay!
Welcome man! Thanks for shouting it out, and glad to hear it’s valuable 👊
I think JT is as safe as it gets. Role wise, maybe not production.

Sold hall in week 17 for 2 1sts, a 2nd, and jaylen wright. Selling rbs seems profitable atm

8:51 the disrespect on Kyren Williams.

Don’t go all young you still want to have some proven vets a good balance of both
Good stuff here.. Appreciate you chiming in, man 🫡

Only active managers can pull off going that gross/piecing it together and making it to the 'ship. Warms our hearts haha.

I have Gibbs achane and 1.01. Should I hold onto all 3 RBs?
Woah I didn’t know we had Voldemort on the podcast
Tyrone Tracey is a super easy buy... Giants need so many position upgrades its easy to see Tracey is a sleeper buy.
Jacobs hasn't been injury prone. One of the most durable bell cows since over the past 6 years.
Chase brown, Brian Robinson, and kw3 are the rbs going into next season, make some moves or just hope to draft some and ride it?
I'd definitely at least test the market on all 3 of these guys
I have the 1.01 do I draft Jeanty or trade for a RB
Jeanty or Bijan Gibbs. Maybe try to get a lil + if possible

I’ll buy RBs closer to the season think I take Tet at 1.02 unless 1.01 skips Jeanty

Absolutely.. and congratulations
How high a draft pick do you think you can get ?
I think I may be able to get a mid to late 1 but may throw something else in to move higher
Is it lazy analysis to say Odunze got JSN’d? It’s the same OC. I think same issue with few types of routes he’s running? Stuck behind an old vet as WR3?
He may have, and hopefully that turns out to be the case... Rome is a stud, and Caleb should improve. Bright days ahead, but it's a fickle market.
I traded aiyuk for jacobs straight up last night
RB strategy..... call my shot post draft. Too many good rookies coming in to invest in veterans.

Panthers taking another rb
That makes 0 sense
@krim1524 brooks is out for probably most the season again. Anything can happen, but I wouldn't be shocked if they go get another RB
Ollie Gordon > rachaad white
