@@knightseriou3258 I've owned 3 bostons and currently have 2. I have to agree with him they are amazing all around ❤️ . Every single one I have love playing with other dogs and are not shy whatsoever. People who met them usually ask what breed they are because they want one as their next dog. They're very sweet, silly, full of energy to run and play with other dogs, loyal, alert, only barks if someone knocks at the dog to alert us but not excessively, loves attention and cuddles. Also great with kids and not nippy like alot of other small breeds tend to be. I had someone's chihuahua nip at my dog and my dog just crouched down and tried to lick her lol. It's rare to come across a boston that's not amazing all around. I've owned plenty of other dog breeds as well but just the way these dogs bond and how much personality they have is unbelievable.
I have 4 dogs, a Wheaton terrier, a Pomeranian a teacup Yorker and a Boston Terrier. Hands down, the Boston is by far the most beautiful soul, friendly, funny, playful, caring.
Boston terriers are my favorite breed they’re so smart, sweet, loyal with amazing personality almost human. One of their best traits is the barking only when necessary. Oh and is best to get them in pairs ! 🐶🐶 I have two .
The win goes to the Boston Terrier I have two of them and they are everything you look for in a dog they love to cuddle, great family dog, really cute and they don’t bark often so they also make good guard dogs
I’ve had 3 Bostons. Wonderful dogs. Great personality is one of the best traits. They are content to do whatever you’re doing. As long as food is involved.
I have had both Bostons and Frenchies. They are both wonderful, but I have had WAY more health issues with the Frenchies. Consistently. Bostons are higher energy than the FBs, so that should be considered. And, both are loving, humorous and wonderful companions. Biggest difference is the cost!
My son and daughter-in-law have one of each. Your video is spot-on! Personally, I prefer the Boston. I had mine for 13 years and he was such a great dog. On a good weather day, he would walk 5 miles! Such a love, too.
@Jada-Rose Tavernier-Durant true true...but to add the BT has a funny personality, does weird zoomies, loves to play Catch, are super agile, and loves to go on walks
@@brockman562 All that of what you mention about BTs are exactly the same I would say about my Frenchies! I was very surprised to see how agile my Frenchies are. We have had an English Bulldog and Boston’s for years (our English crossed the rainbow bridge at 13 and our oldest Boston did so at 14). We recently got a French Bulldog and she is joined at the hip with our youngest Boston (7) now. She makes me smile because she’s everything our English Bulldog was (fearless, playful, protective) just in a pint size package.

I agree. I wake up in the a.m. with my Boston/ Boxer mix head on the pillow next to mine. Hardly barks, funny, personality plus. She's Brindle and white.
Our Bostons are amazing. They both mastered potty training at five months old--a far cry from our old Dachshunds who never potty trained. Thry get us up every morning at 8:00 to go out and they love their daily walks. Overheating is no joke-they can quickly fall into heat distress so talking plenty of water with you on hot days is a must. Teaching them to sit, belly, crawl and rollover is effortless. Bostons are a true joy.
Nothing against the French Bulldog, they're cute and multilingual. It's simply a very high bar to top a Boston Terrier. I've been lucky enough to have the companionship of three of them and will never forget the memories.
We had a Boston for 14 years, and he was the best boy ever. Such a sturdy little guy. Up for anything. Great with kids. VERY active. He was an escape artist and addicted to fetch. Now we have a Frenchton girl, and she is amazing, too. Very much like our Boston. I dont think I would ever own a full Frenchie. Too many health problems. They always seem like they are struggling to breathe. If you want a lapdog, frenchies are good, but why not just get a shih tzu? Bostons are great, but they are energetic. People need to know that before getting one.
At first I would say these aren't the types of dogs I would seek out as I prefer large dogs with normal snouts. However, we just recently adopted a Boston Terrier and this little guy has won my heart. Also, I've dog sit for my friend's Frenchie and that stinky little pooch is absolutely adorable. If you are more active then get a Boston. Frenchies are also more prone to health problems. Boston’s are also, on average, more intelligent than FB. Do your research and find out more.
My boston terrier is huge she's 35lbs but isn't fat at all she's so fit! Her parents were large and she's super smart. I love both boston's and frenchies, but Boston's are great watch dogs and great with children and are easy to train. They are smart and dedicated to their owners. Love them both ❤️ it just sucks they both are gassy dogs from their inward noses, and also develop breathing issues from the noses. They also get overheated easily. Great dogs and it's sad that frenchies are so much more expensive because quality in both dogs you cannot put a price tag on it and if families cannot afford the experience, go to the dog park and meet some! I say Boston Terriers I had one that died maybe a year ago and one puppy that is almost a year old and they are so sweet they love to cuddle and are amazing but french bulldogs are good too but are not as active and tend to be very lazy.french bulldogs also tend to make these really weird snorting noises when they get older their noses tend to get very dry and dirty so things like fuzz get stuck on the tips of their noses but that could just be from their owners not cleaning them enough.

Answer: Frenchton wins
I think Frenchies are cuter but I Boston Terrier would fit my lifestyle better. I've actually been considering getting one of these to breathe. I knew someone who had a Boston terrier and it would frequently climb the flower trellis and get over the chain-link fence. My concern is whether this is a common issue or just specific to her dog? Does anyone know if Boston Terriers are big escape artist?
