also his ult is not a 50/50 you can pick the off angle you want to play and you can enter ult while being invulnerable and when you kill someone with ult it gives you invulnerability so its possible to 1v3 clutch everytime kill 1 double tap ult kill them 1 then double tap get out of the domain with invulnerability to 1v1 the last person and they are underestimating the fragile but if you use it like an omen flash on a choke you can easily win on eco with a sheriff with his wall he will be good on maps with a lot of choke points like haven or ascent

The ult is not 50/50 like some people said. I think it is 70/30. You got 2 shields from the start, a gap in the middle, that means 3 angles to peek while the enemy will have to choose 2 angles (50/50). If you got a sentinel player in, your team could flood in the site no matter you lost the duel or not. His ISO name literally isolates fights

I think another thing to look out for is in a 2v1 with Iso on the numbers side he can call for the defuse and ult the enemy and basically play time. It's a free half defuse and especially if enemy is too far it's a free full defuse.
honestly l think its really viable in comp because think about a map like lotus, you ult the person defending C in to your ult and just let other people flood into the site, no matter you win or lose the cite is yours and if thats like a KJ she can not use any util in the ult so she is basically useless + you team can still kill her after the flood

I think a really cool strat is when your opponents gets detected by a killjoy turret breach could then send an aftershock or stun then iso could send out his undetcut then everyone swings. This could work really well on Ascent and Haven
I love the idea of 1v1ing sentinal in their site. Team can push no problem because sentinel is out of site and cant use their util. Even if you lose the gulag, your team storms in site and kills sentinel when he comes back
On ecos with ult, i guess you could buy a hero vandal and take a 1v1 since im pretty sure that if you lose, the gun will drop from where you ulted from.
I think ISO will be a great lurk agent with his ult. He can just clear half of the site with his ult and isolate the site anchor. and the site is free for your team.

Good take overall. Even tho i believe he is a bit more viable then mentioned. If u look how the wall works on bind for example, u can go up A using it for lamps or heaven, depending on where u start the round combining it immediately with the vurnabilitie ability, to gain benifit in the fights for space early on. Also, u have a more teambased duelist, which is really good depending on the comp u go. U could sub a Initiator on 2 Initiator maps like Ascent, for him, if u have a player who might be stronger on a duelist then a kayo. Also the ult is busted, in terms of space winning, if u ult and lose its still almost a free refrag an free space for the rest of the team. Especially in eco rounds it is space and a free weapon basically for a 1v1 trade in the worst case.

I don’t think he’s a selfish agent at all, the vulnerable combos really well with all of the mollies and nades, especially with Sova, his wall is a great way to get a team onto site, and his ult is good in several situations to get a team into site or to play time with spike etc etc
So the best way to use ult is you shoot someone then get shield , you use Q to make them vulnerable and then use ult to force them to solo 1vs1 when you have a lot of advantages, seems good
The ulti is not a coin toss, you spawn in able to see while the enemy stares at a wall. Meanwhile you can go far left or right. The fight is more so 65 -35 or even 70 - 30. Also you massively undervalue the wall, there are only 2 abilities in the game that block bullets, one of them is stationary and can be broken and the other one is an ultimate
I see a lot of people saying this character looks overpowered or super strong, but 1.) We're only seeing him played by really good players atm, and 2.) I think most of his stuff is designed to be high skill reward. He's essentially gonna be a more difficult and team-viable Reyna. If you can hit your shots, you're gonna win fights no matter what character you play. His whole kit is designed to give you the edge in an equal gunfight. Having a limit and skill requirement for double tap is a good design choice, his ult is niche but super hype, I honestly think he'll be a fun ranked stomper and maybe an oddball pick in pro play. TenZ is gonna love him for sure.
Iso seems more like a supportive agent for the current meta. He can assist with jett/raze entry with his kit, he will be great 2nd by eating off his teammate's frag for double tap. And his kill contract is terrible for team fights so its gonna be used nichely in clutches (so you want him alive throughout the round to ult). Map wise he is gonna struggle all around for not having any flashes or means of clearing space quickly. ISO has no way to control space, gaurantee space but he can initiate for space. So for team comps he can't be a solo duelist because of this. I might be wrong when he comes out so we'll have to see. I will pay the 10 bucks riot.

I do think though, that he would be interesting and fun to *watch* in a pro scene because of his abilities and ultimate - no clue about his viability within the pro scene. feels like reyna with deadlock ult that instead of kills the tagged target would just give you an isolated 1v1 which YOU CAN STILL LOSE. downsides I see are that he doesn't have an escape like reyna does, his shield only blocks 1 instance of dmg which still requires you to take your crosshair away from the fight just to shoot the orb out of the air for 1 dmg block. Don't get me wrong, the dmg block feels good to have. it's just that in organized games i see it's value going down fast. in ranked where people tend to give out isolated 1v1s left and right i think he'd thrive with that shield. his ult can somewhat be used as an initiating tool for sites like ascent or haven A site. it takes an enemy out for a duration until the duel ends so your teammates could have an easier time taking the site. don't know if cypher's or kj's traps would also get disabled while they are inside iso's ult. would really like to see someone test that. thing is, if used this way, even if iso loses that duel while his teammates are taking site, it still compromises the winner's position and leaves them for an easy trade.

Iso seems more like a supportive agent for the current meta. He can assist with jett/raze entry with his kit, he will be great 2nd by eating off his teammate's frag for double tap. And his kill contract is terrible for team fights so its gonna be used nichely in clutches (so you want him alive throughout the round to ult). Map wise he is gonna struggle all around for not having any flashes or means of clearing space quickly.
ISO has no way to control space, gaurantee space but he can initiate for space. So for team comps he can't be a solo duelist because of this.
I might be wrong when he comes out so we'll have to see. I will pay the 10 bucks riot.

Double tap-again only on high rank since they 1 tap and if they spray they lose

Vunerable thingy-ok but leaning to good side and uh if you have someone like skye, dog for info or drone from sova to hit more enemies

Sova post plant ulti plays could just be stopped completely since it kicks him out of his ult and saves you the time of running over to him 🔥

I feel that I have to try him, to make a decision if he is fun or not. I do think though, that he would be interesting and fun to *watch* in a pro scene because of his abilities and ultimate - no clue about his viability within the pro scene. So far though, it seems that you think he belongs more in ranked play - and I can see why, with the things you've said.

feels like reyna with deadlock ult that instead of kills the tagged target would just give you an isolated 1v1 which YOU CAN STILL LOSE.
downsides I see are that he doesn't have an escape like reyna does, his shield only blocks 1 instance of dmg which still requires you to take your crosshair away from the fight just to shoot the orb out of the air for 1 dmg block.
Don't get me wrong, the dmg block feels good to have. it's just that in organized games i see it's value going down fast. in ranked where people tend to give out isolated 1v1s left and right i think he'd thrive with that shield.
his ult can somewhat be used as an initiating tool for sites like ascent or haven A site. it takes an enemy out for a duration until the duel ends so your teammates could have an easier time taking the site. don't know if cypher's or kj's traps would also get disabled while they are inside iso's ult. would really like to see someone test that. thing is, if used this way, even if iso loses that duel while his teammates are taking site, it still compromises the winner's position and leaves them for an easy trade.
