That is certainly worth getting! I have never seen anything like this before, and that's certainly one of the most unusual Westminster chimes I've ever heard on a clock :)
It might be the same system as in my clock. I've had to take my clock down again as there's a problem with the chime contact which means it goes through the entire sequence twice. Hopefully it will be easy to sort.
@@SuperNathan90 There aren't any solenoids, just a rotary switch geared to the minute wheel, which slides over circular copper contacts on a printed circuit board. I need to find out which tracks connect to what, so i can find out where the rogue connection is happening. It'll have to wait however as I have so many other projects to complete. Hopefully I'll get it done in the New Year if not before.
@ yeah that’s what I meant couldn’t think of it , probably just something so simple like a worn transistor or resistor or even build up of carbon on the tracks
@@SuperNathan90 I scraped the rotary contact as it was sometimes failing to chime at all. Now it chimes, but goes through the whole cycle twice, sometimes after a minute gap. I have to test it, but the contacts are small and it could be very tricky. I won't give up on it, but I'll leave it for a while and get some other clocks sorted, then I'll get back to it.
Nifty! A cute clock with a cute music box with a cute Westminster melody. Wow!
Definitely a very cute clock, I love the uniqueness!

Amazingly beautiful!!!!!! And I loved seeing that a music box is the chime and strike!
Thats very nice clock, Tommy! I never seen battery clocks with music box, but this one is very rare i think!
Woah, fascinating! I love music boxes in clocks, this is a music box/clock combo i haven't ever seen before :)
Worth buying indeed!
That's very clever how it all works
wow I like it
Interesting i love it
I have seen a Japan "NATIONAL" Panasonic clock that has a Westminster chime music box. Very unusual

@@TommyWylieit’s probably something so simple to and has a ludicrous solenoid that’s probably not making correct contact
