Right, so next update, we buff the smithscript weapons to not be ass, the perfume bottles still need more damage overall and I still think we need ANOTHER class-wide buff on longbows for DEX scaling to be much higher. Also, there's still some spells that are lackluster that need buffs, but we've made a good push in the right direction here.
i don't think smithscript daggers anyways can get buffed enough to be useful, the hammer is still decent though and bows probably do need some buffs but they're not really designed to be main weapons
Golem fists need a range buff, holy. Also decreased stamina consumption on the bigger smithscript weapon would be great. Perfumes are fine imo, some specific ones need buffs like the fire and poison one but all the other ones are in a good spot. Their unique ashes could use a buff though.
@jackhyde1488 quite literally just hurts as much as it looks. Not extreme, but fair. And many people neglect that you can cast it unlocked to make it appear over your own character to drag enemy fights into it easier. It has become a decent-enough utility spell, rather than well... lukewarm piss
@LeHarmacist for real. And still every time I see anyone use it, they're locked onto enemy and the cloud goes above the enemy, then enemy moves toward character and all rain misses. Best way to use rain of fire is unlocked, let it fall right above you, right where the enemy is certain to be
21:30 so for context on what this bug was, if you performed certain ashes of war before performing Dynastic Sickleplay or Raging Beast, the heavy attack followups would be completely different attacks, usually parts of other skills (Dynastic Sickleplay, for example, could perform certain hits of Spinning Slash after performing stuff like Impaling Thrust with a different weapon). This effect would last until your performed another AoW with a different weapon that'd change them

Funnily enough, I might be the only player that realize summons is intended for mage build, it's even lorewise correct in rennala bossfight. although you can bypass this using hidden cerulean tears. I never play mage myself but you definitely need an agro taker if you play solo, hence summons use FP.
Can't you just use that tear that temporarily gives you infinite FP? Pretty sure with that you can summon whatever you want regardless of how much mind you have.

The fact that you can either bum rush or instantly wack someone when they come out of the animation pre-nerf shows the spell is just a niche spell for some clutch play. Now with the nerf, idk what to do with this spell anymore.
Didnt know it was that many people, just heard Jeanine complain about it, jund corrected him and jee changed his tone on it minutes after the update, but who else complained?
Honestly impenetrable thorns doesn't sound nerfed. All 3 track target instead of going 3 different ways? No more need to be close then, and the buildup/damage decreased against guarding enemies doesn't sound bad because most of the time they aren't guarding it.
Such a thing as status against guarding does not exist. Its two different stats that were reduced: 1. Hemmorage buildup generally 2. stamina damage against blocking enemies
Midras being untouched hurts me. I got that spell on my frenzy build and realizing it was basically useless (less damage than normal frenzy, insane fp cost and madness buildup, terrible bullet spread) was tragic. At least Ansbachs was buffed though!
19:52 YES! THANK GOD THEY FIXED THIS. It was the jump shot switch for arrows/greatarrows. If Palm blast cannot tank all of the hits, it's now completely pointless because if people know you can be staggered out of it, then they'll just keep swinging, and you'll never get it off, ever. The only way I would be ok with this is if charge of the blast is linear in damage scaling where letting go of it at 75% charge, gives you 75% of the total damage it was going to do, isntead of just giving you the uncharged damage. They potentially just completely Stake Driver'd this skill and made it dogshit. I always said Stake Driver needed hyper armour in BB and they "fixed" that with this skill. To see them nerf it here is just bad, if anything maybe the damage couldv'e been nerfed as it was very good, but the fact that you knew you could tank stuff was the saving grace for the hand to hand.
@@yulfine1688if you were trying to trade with a palm blast despite knowing how much poise it gives, it was your fault. That move is extremely easy to dodge just by running in the other direction. @@baotinnguyen5142 Yes that's what still makes it good, it deals a lot of damage still, although nerfed, still has nice bleed build up (it used to insta bleed enemies, now you have to work for bleed build up). The range and it being spammable makes it very good too, and not only that, also now you have incentive to actually build around this spell and buff it, now you gotta build around arcane stat to have high bleed build up, use staff of the guilty in offhand, Alberich set, varre mask and lord of bloods exultation. The huge problem of the spell before the nerf was that it was still much more powerful compared to most spells in the game, despite having to build around it (just like how Perfume Bottles used to be before the nerf). Without int or arcane investments, without dedicated build, simply having 23 Faith it was still insanely powerful

@@rttrtt1374 i beg to differ, the 2 hand still has that 1 2 true combo while dual weilding, due to the way the attack hits, with the second poke of the 3rd power stance hit functioning as a roll catch if the victim was at point blank range This was even more infuriating with things like bleed infusion, where you take 4 hits garunteed, and maybe more with phantom hits and the roll catch i mentioned earlier All that said, double spears will still be worse just due to the range they get
More hitbox fixes next time? (Hopefully soon). Gaius loses his damage hitbox when he charges, savage lion's claw first hit doesn't work on some weapons like the golem halberd, and PC Radahn underhand-overhead attack ignores i-frames. There's probably more that I'm not aware of, but they need to be addressed.
Needed adjustments to bosses that I can name off the top of my head: 1) Fix Divine Beast Dancing Lion's lightning phase, so surrounding lightings are scattered wider, so they don't trap you and you don't get hit by lightnings outside of your line of sight; 2) Rellana's 5 hit long range magic combo not having hitboxes on the blades (You can stand right next to her on that attack and her swords don't hit you). Moon attacks have no hitbox up close too, you can stand right under her and not get hit (only the ground has hitbox); 3) Hippo's long range attacks have very weird hitboxes and are very rng based, need fixes; 4) Messmer's grab attack hitbox fix (although not problematic). 5) Gaius's boar charge having 2-3 active hitboxes, resulting in getting hit after avoiding the initial hitbox. Very often you also get hit 2-3 times during that attacks, resulting in getting one shot. Also, the boar charge has s, meaning you can't take advantage of ranged attacks during his charge; 6) Romina's instant AOE phase transition needs to have a telegraph and/or longer charge up; Also a lot of hitboxes don't seem correct; 7) Metyr's laser beam is undodgeable/unavoidable by normal means currently; 8) Bayle's long range fire attacks deflects off the ground, needs to be fixed. Same with his random lightnings in the arena that hit you on his phase transition flying attack; 9) Death Knights (2 versions) shouldn't be backstab-able, makes the fight much less engaging. Crucible Knights, Misbegotten Warriors, Zamor Warriors and other humanoid bosses are absolutely amazing fights and you can't backstab those; 10) Many of Radahn's attacks, attack animations and hitboxes look off, need to be addressed. The biggest issues are double slash combo that frame traps you and a lot of ground AOEs not being jumpable, despite logically looking like you can jump over them
@@InsomniacShrub I am too somewhat. I just hate the fact that no matter how you play, it’s almost completely RNG Based. If you're high level and have a good chunk of faith, this weapon is a must have now. Edit: I put this weapon to the test on Mohg, again, on the highest NG+ difficulty, and... it killed him in 15 seconds. He couldn't even do the full countdown before the Nihil attack.
I mean, I'm sure the buff is good and Euporia sounds good and all, but at level 571 with all those buffs you can blend Mohg with pretty much whatever you want. That doesn't really say much about your weapon of choice at that point, it's going to do overwhelming damage regardless.
@@ShjadeNexayre Like I said, it's pretty much guaranteed at the level I'm at to do a bunch of damage, but I do think this weapon could be crazy good on a proper faith build at around 120 or higher. I'm gonna be trying that soon, and I know it obviously won't do as much damage as I stated before, but it should still be viable if you've got at least 40 faith or so, maybe less. It also benefits from the Axe Talisman and Spiked Cracked Tear as each fully charged heavy levels up it's power, and I imagine you could get some pretty good damage numbers with just the heavy attacks anyway.

Palm blast getting a hyper armor nerf makes sense since I've seen people in PvE face tank hits from large bosses like Radahn, Maliketh and horah loux. It was pretty insane
Stormhawk Deenh getting buffed seems strong, especially since many enemies struggle to hit him while he constantly draws aggro for the player. He was already quite good early/mid game.
That blades of stone buff was so needed. The range on it was so awful. Also the divine beast tornado stuff is nice, but they didn't seem to fix its inability to go up slopes.
Good start but I hope they give a bunch of the new incantations and spells hyper armor. Messmer's giant fireball not having hyper armor is insane and the 2 bayle incantations need either spell time reduction or hyper armor or honestly both.
Should've buffed midra's flame of frenzy and those two useless crucible incantations. Also that palm blast nerf is genuinely tragic-it wasnt even that bad, all other players had to do as a counter was just not contest it if they saw an enemy charging the skill. Nerfing the poise is completely unnecessary imo
Sweet! Lhutel the Headless spirit ash got buffed too. She was my first +10 spirit ash. I got Taylew recently but I might have to give Lhutel another try now.
Sad to see nothing about Bayle's Tyranny.. the "roar" or "blast" itself when casting ONLY hits one person, so if you nuked a host and 2 phantoms, only one of those players is taking the big blast, it's not like greyolls roar where everyone is hit. Unless that is how Michael Zaki wanted it to be. Also roar medallion doesn't buff Bayle's tyranny which is crazy

Smithscript spear needs some help.
Golem fists need a range buff, holy. Also decreased stamina consumption on the bigger smithscript weapon would be great. Perfumes are fine imo, some specific ones need buffs like the fire and poison one but all the other ones are in a good spot. Their unique ashes could use a buff though.

Its two different stats that were reduced:
1. Hemmorage buildup generally
2. stamina damage against blocking enemies
Midras being untouched hurts me. I got that spell on my frenzy build and realizing it was basically useless (less damage than normal frenzy, insane fp cost and madness buildup, terrible bullet spread) was tragic. At least Ansbachs was buffed though!

Damn man how do you notice all that. I must be too stupid to find anything
Needed adjustments to bosses that I can name off the top of my head:
1) Fix Divine Beast Dancing Lion's lightning phase, so surrounding lightings are scattered wider, so they don't trap you and you don't get hit by lightnings outside of your line of sight;
2) Rellana's 5 hit long range magic combo not having hitboxes on the blades (You can stand right next to her on that attack and her swords don't hit you). Moon attacks have no hitbox up close too, you can stand right under her and not get hit (only the ground has hitbox);
3) Hippo's long range attacks have very weird hitboxes and are very rng based, need fixes;
4) Messmer's grab attack hitbox fix (although not problematic).
5) Gaius's boar charge having 2-3 active hitboxes, resulting in getting hit after avoiding the initial hitbox. Very often you also get hit 2-3 times during that attacks, resulting in getting one shot. Also, the boar charge has s, meaning you can't take advantage of ranged attacks during his charge;
6) Romina's instant AOE phase transition needs to have a telegraph and/or longer charge up; Also a lot of hitboxes don't seem correct;
7) Metyr's laser beam is undodgeable/unavoidable by normal means currently;
8) Bayle's long range fire attacks deflects off the ground, needs to be fixed. Same with his random lightnings in the arena that hit you on his phase transition flying attack;
9) Death Knights (2 versions) shouldn't be backstab-able, makes the fight much less engaging. Crucible Knights, Misbegotten Warriors, Zamor Warriors and other humanoid bosses are absolutely amazing fights and you can't backstab those;
10) Many of Radahn's attacks, attack animations and hitboxes look off, need to be addressed. The biggest issues are double slash combo that frame traps you and a lot of ground AOEs not being jumpable, despite logically looking like you can jump over them

@@anitaremenarova6662 It's not impossible at all. Mid range you need to dodge late sideway twice. Closer range just roll in and it all misses. Star shower isn't an issue.
@@fullfildreamz Yeah, definitely a reasonable requirement to know waterfowl tier knowledge to dodge this spell while you're also being pelted by half a dozen other projectiles.
@@anitaremenarova6662 That is not waterfowl tier knowledge you weaksauce player.
You just suck at dodging it.
I am not telling you to get better, I'm saying you're just suck at it.
Don't believe I ever heard a fan shot nerf for ansbach bow so that's still busted
I’m still trying to figure out why people are complaining about this. Fan Shot can’t be held, can’t be free aimed, wastes 8 arrows if it misses, and has a draw time comparable to a greatbow. Take away its damage and Ansbach’s Bow becomes nothing more than a novelty weapon at best.
@@alvinwilliams2336 I think it's that all 8 arrows count as a full connection even if only one arrow connects to the intended target, so bleed arrows proc instant even on a partial connect.
@@MastaBlastah229 Really? I was under the impression Fan Shot only caused 2 arrows worth of status build up if it connected (that’s what those who’ve tested it claim anyway).
If it’s instantly proccing status, it should definitely be adjusted. I just hope its damage doesn’t suffer as a result.
I really wanted to get a good invasion clip spawning into that Belurat tree before they patched it. I was close just a day ago, too!! Lol
Wonder if they fixed Rain of Fire not spawning the cloud in some areas. I've had it not spawn at all versus Romina.
I'd like to see the Perfume Bottles get a buff.
