I remember when this took place and oddly enough I've thinking about it for a few days so I googled the incident trying to remember this guys name and wallah here it is, funny how that stuff happens. This guy had a lot of guts and a strong will to live and I'm so glad to know he's doing well.

I see that the last post was almost a year ago, so nobody may see this, but I was a good friend to Tom and a neighbor on Dole Street in the early 90s. Today is July 6th, 2024. This morning, Tom ended his life with medically assisted voluntary death in Alberta, Canada. He was with his life partner and beloved friend Trena. He had been struggling with an aggressive tongue/mouth cancer which was spreading quickly and painfully.

It’s really sad when people don’t have bigger goals in their life and sadly resort to revenge and plotting evil. It just makes it worse and it never has a happy ending. So what if u got fired. All of us have experienced humiliation and felt like the bottom of the barrel. Everyday is a blessing to breath and try again. Nothing in this life is easy, u can’t give up

That day I was delivering some auto parts on Sand Island near Kilgo's Hardware Store when the place was closed off. A few minutes later I heard on my radio in my truck that Sand Island was closed because of a hostage stand off.

I can cover a lot of ground on this situation... Whether someone is a soldier, officer or civilian... Only the most ice watered people having a 12g pointed at the back of your neck would be like, "Ooooh. No big deal"... Sorry Canadians / Hawaiians... 2 trained snipers... On on the hand / fingers / trigger guard and area, and the other sniper vaporizing the head...
