@@3RaccooonsInATrenchcoat ok 🙃 SPOILERS There is a 99.9% that this 'essay' is hard to read bcs my train of thought is shit Dazai and Chuuya's relationship is usually passed off as love or hate, but it's SO much deeper. The clearest emotion between the two is trust, one example is shown when Chuuya activates corruption trusting that Dazai will have a plan to save him and Dazai trusting that Chuuya will trust him enough save them both. Chuuya's emotions are usually quite obvious despite the fact he hides them behind insults like when he said smth about being happy that Dazai left but his facial expression didn't match up with what he was saying,another time in stormbringer Dazai was in a bit of a pickle and only Chuuya had the info to save him so he could've just not saved him but he did. Dazai's emotions are extremely unreadable compared to Chuuya's but one fact that leads use to think he truly cares is in stormbringer when he asks Chuuya if he actually wants to complete his plan which could be dangerous, he already made plans incase Chuuya didn't want to execute that plan even though other plans would have less of a chance of working which was putting the mission at risk and during this time Dazai wasn't joking in the slightest, another instance in stormbringer is when Dazai is relieved and he genuinely laughs for the first time bcs he knows Chuuya is alright. For the whole "Dazai 'abandoning/betraying' Chuuya by leaving thing hates him" the reason Dazai left without Chuuya is bcs the PM makes Chuuya feel human(I'll explain it in more depth if anyone wants) There's a few situations that make it seem like they dislike eachother(Don't bring up 101☹️), but Im kinda busy rn so I'll just respond if anyone finds those for me! Fun fact, the real Dazai Osama was inlove with a man who who called shorty 🤨 I might right this later bcs I write better on computer

@yokoneedsmoney If it was the comic version then they would look much different but you've used the netflix version and in that version Viktor is a trans man, while it's understandable for the characters as its in the first season but sor you you do know so I feel its better when explaining the characters you use he/Him pronouns
heyy great video!! but one thing i was a bit iffy about was referring to viktor by his deadname ^^ i mean generally i can understand keeping his appearance as it was in s1 for plot purposes but i dont think using his correct name and pronouns makes the plot of the video any different ^^
Yeahh I was a lil concerned about using his deadname as I would be disrespecting Elliot as well but I was also worried about spoilers for those who had not watched it, but no worries I won’t be doing anymore Umbrella Academy content anytime soon, even if i did, I’ll probably keep the appearance and use the new name and prns for the sake of Elliot
