I know this is 6 years old lmao anyway you don't necessarily have to shoot, as long as you can reload (if that makes sense). You've to press Y or triangle as the bullet goes in the chamber or the exact moment the magazine changes. It's a matter of timing and depends on the reload animation finishing off.
PS. If you sprint instead of reloading at the same moment you would press Y, you will adalia/adelia. (Reload+wait till it finishes reloading+Sprint at that very exact milisecond).
