I have my fathers diastar which he bought in 1970... auto magic ...cut sapphire crystal......was not working I took it to watch maker..300 for repair which he said is common about every 10 years. Watch is spectacular......I replaced band with a non radio band but beautifully. Love this watch it's timeless great choice pass it on as my father did to me

I'm afraid to buy it as it's only 35mm. I wear dive watches mostly, 42mm and Seiko Turtles 45mm. Plus the Rado has no lugs. I'm so afraid it's going to look tiny. What is your wrist size? How does it wear? I would love this in a 40mm or 42mm.
I have 2 rado watches but both of them are not properly functioning. I took it from the dealer only so no need think about the duplication. The dealer told me that the watch will work automatically for next 24 hours if you wear this watch for 8 to 9 hours continuously. Also recently i noticed that it is getting delayed some times. I called the dealer and they told me that it may be the problem with the power house of the watch but i am surprised to understand that both of my watch have the same issues. It means most of the watches of this brand have the same issue.

I noticed that the second moves just like a quartz watch. I did not know RADO makes DiaStar quartz watch. For me 500 USA dollars for a quartz watch is overpriced!!!!

Saju George If you don't wear the watch regularly, you must manually wind the crown about 40 times before wearing it.

Kurien George original rado consist only 8 digits serial number and the screws wil have straight slot, not crossed.
