There are scenes in the movies when the lightning strikes and everyone in the audience is hit by it. Like when Vinod Khana was walking down the streets with the church bells sounds in the background in MGMD or when Rishi Kapoor steps down the stairs in Bobby and starts singing mahi shayer tu nain , those were the exact moments when a star was born. When Rajesh, the son is shown as fighter pilot with that smashing look, that is the exact moment when a super star was born. THAT WAS A THUNDER HITTING THE MOVIE GOERS AND A SUPER STAR WAS BORN!

Actually this film was suppose send for Oscar. I didn't know what basis these bloody OSCAR judges select film for OSCAR.Strange thing is that Titanic has got 11 Oscars.But why not our Indian films
shakti samatha was so good... he made three great films.. anurodh this ans amar prem.... amar prem is the best... this and anurodh are equally good but anurodh has better music and comic stuff...
@@mohantanksali6926 kati patang is ok. except the climax is very funny.. I was surprised that the climax of kati patang is like peecha karo and andaz apna apna.. Anurodh is my personal favorite but of course Amar Prem is one of the best films ever made in the history of cinema...
