I purchased the 1100i from an individual who decided they just wanted a gas fireplace insert. I hired an installer and it looks great but did have a few issues, which I understood could happen with a pre-owned unit. I found the manual online, but it just doesn't have much detail. I was so thankful to find this video! I actually copy/pasted the transcript into an Excel file. Then I could use the "find" feature to search the transcript text for exactly what I need and where to find it in the video! Game changer! My insert is running perfectly now and I was able to fix the issues myself. Well, I did have to order and install a new control box, but still, I did it myself! thank you for this excellent detailed video!

good video, when we bought our house 20 years ago it came with a Quadra-fire 1100-I and no video, we still have the stove and this video is very helpful to understand how the thing works. some parts are hard to find, like a new heat exchanger, if any one knows were I can get on plaese let me know.
