I was listening to this track in my car driving in the rain and it was perfect. That chorus just hits me at the core. Everyone shines on this album. I'll listen to this album in the future and it will take me back to late 2015.

PartyTom Actually metal its a heavy and agressive (with all the distortions and lower tunings like D, C and so on) rock. Punk its already pretty fast genre, so, calling metal being a "faster punk" its VERY WRONG. Progressive metal its the best way to define Baroness, or even just metal.
Yeah, that's how it is now. But go back, look at the bands at the time. Sex Pistols weren't particularly fast paced, nor were the Ramones most of the time. Punk wasn't a fast genre back then. Bands like Motorhead, Metallica, Anthrax, and Slayer, all took basis from punk and hardcore punk bands. The fusion of this and bands like Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden are what brought metal to it's current status. I agree that Progressive Metal (or more particularly, Progressive Stoner Metal) is probably a better way to describe it, but using the original comment for some elitist attack on punk makes you look like a dickhead when this genre wouldn't have even seen the light of day without punk music.
