We built a design system recently for our product, but since it would take a lot of time to build it from scratch, we took reference from legal external resources of premium pre-built design system and modified it according to our product preferences. That saved a lot of time and efforts. Nice content Kerev :)

Thank you! I was wandering if you are hanging around still, I think you are my first subscriber :) Do you have any tips or topics you would like to see for me to cover?

@@KerevDesign I am really proud of being your subscriber. Your value of content has been greatly increased. For me personally, I would love to see how you handle a real-time project by applying the UX methodologies.
For example, you can even take mock project with a problem statement and try to solve it with the Design thinking process or other UX methods you have showed in the channel. More than explaining the theory, people would love to see how to solve problems using the theory and its practical applications. That will be very helpful . Thanks.

That's the idea behind this channel, to be a mentor that I liked to have in the past :)

I'm fairly new to UX design (with a background in graphic design tho) but aren't sure if to focus on using design systems now.

I actually came to UX from the same background as you (graphic design) and as I said in the video - they can be a nice learning material, because you can see various scenarios of usage and reasoning behind design decisions. Material Design from Google is really good on that front - because even the best designers can't compete with years of usability research and hundreds of designers working on the thing. You don't need to use them for all your projects (especially smaller ones), but they definitely speed up workflows.

Unfortunately not yet, because it would be a massive undertaking - but recently I started to think about making it

@@KerevDesign There is at least one good design course out there ( $100), but your designs seem to be consistently even stronger.
I would buy a reasonably in depth course from you today, for up to $500. For more $ than that it would have be really in depth, with some mentoring or feedback
What about a subscription to a forum, where you could develop the curriculum as you go, then provide feedback?
      your videos are great.
