I got some once accidentally and it sat in the Fabric Stash for AGES then the kid used it to make me a purse, she wanted to get me a Vera Bradley and used it in her Dupe. It made really thin fabric soft and thick and I can not recommed it enough it was GREAT for padding dog gear too!
I love fusible fleece and have used it for many years when making patchwork tote bags. It gives a dimension to the project, much like adding batting would, but doesn’t shift or move out of place due to the fusing. I also use it for small projects like phone or glasses cases to add cushioning. Just don’t use it in projects like bowl cozies that go in the microwave; for that you need 100% cotton only. But it’s great for placemats. 😊 Love this channel!❤❤
I use it for bag making and fabric baskets. Really makes for a more stable project. I see others have used it in quilting, I never have but it makes sense it would help so the fabric doesn’t shift. I have never heard before to use it for that.
Cool stuff! Now I know ❤ I learned what to look for and how to use it. thank you. Can you do more videos like this. How to use these things, cause you make learning how to sew exciting and I'm a work in progress
What's the weight of it? I ask because I've made zip pouches that call for fusible fleece and since I already had both Insul-Bright and a medium fusible interfacing, I didn't want to buy more supplies. So I used the Insul-Bright on the back of the main fabric and the medium interfacing on the back of the liner. It turned out OK but was a struggle to sew, maybe because the Insul-Bright is thicker than fusible fleece? So I'm just wondering how thick fusible fleece is meant to be. Thank you!
I came to ask the expert about something close to that product but I can’t find it. I was watching a lady on YT making book sleeves. Her fabric wasn’t flimsy like the fusible fleece. It was way more stiff. She was from the UK I think, she called it fusible flannel, but to me it looked like foam. When she held up the finished fabric, it looked stiff, didn’t bend at all like other ones I saw made. 🤔 Any idea of what is ironed and fused to fabric, that would cause it to have more cushion, and a bit more stiff? 😅😅😅
Are fusible fleece and interfacing the same thing? I sometimes see fusible fleece and interfacing grouped together, but sometimes its separate. Is fusible fleecing like a thicker interfacing? I'm new to sewing so I get a little confused about the different materials
Maybe I'm brain dead. Well not maybe. 🥴 I'm confused on the one that has the glue on both sides. There isn't a way with what I have to iron just one side at a time. What would it be good to use for?

I love using it because it keeps the fabric from shifting when quilting
Thank you for this video, nobody ever explains what it is and what for. Very appreciated 😊❤
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for the information! I have been using it while i learn how to make project bags. It really is amazing! You are right about the squish❤
Thanks!!!😊🎉❤
You're welcome 😊

Thanks for explaining this now I know what I can use it for.
Glad it was helpful!
Might have to try some. I also got you some more followers from a group I am in on Facebook ❤❤😊
Awesome! Thank you!
@shesewsseams yqw I also made my halloween bag and a sunglasse case and love them
Thank you!😊
Thanks 😊
You're welcome!
Thank you! I’m new to all of this.
You're so welcome!
Which do you suggest to use when making placemats?
Fusible fleece or interfacing?
I would lean toward fleece so they’re a little soft and squishy!
Is it better to use the fusible fleece on the backing or the front?

Can I use fusible fleece for placemats? Will a glass stand up on it?
How do you use it to make your bags firmer! Do you also use that shear webbing?

Fusible fleece is fluffy and is used when you need to quilt your project. Interfacing is for stability mostly.

Where can you buy it? My nearest Joann store closed.
I sorry about Joanne. I found it on amazon, but don’t know how to add a link here. I’m technologically challenged.
I got mine at Walmart…but they have just closed out their fabric department. Hobby Lobby should have it.
