The crucible is pretty much an even more badass lightsaber, it’s so awesome

Every enemy glitches out with a glorykill at some point, for example I staggered Doom Hunter and Glorykilled him at top speed, so his skin stretched out like that too
sometimes when I kill a mancubus with the crucible he starts stretching and then he splits in 2, so it's most definitely a glitch.
Hmm haven't had that happen to me but what HAS happened was when a pain elemental throws out his lost souls at your face the lost soul I guess gets stuck and they be screaming out all their voice lines 💀💀💀

@@dragishawk9564 it's 1 pip of the crucible to take down the Tyrant. The animation, however, is 3 cuts.

I’ve done it. The marauder you just got to stagger him with the ballista or super shotgun, then blast him with the Unmaykr. The doom hunter you just aim for the little hover pad until he hits critical damage. And the Kahn Maykr you just have to punch after shredding her shields. It’s great for boss fights, if you know how to use it, and have enough ammo.

so three of the superweapon is pretty much BFG (long range), Unmaykr (mid range), Crucible (melee)
Man, Crucible's basically an ammunition-based Berserker powerup
It's not basically. It's literally. But also, imagine some kind of berserker mode where you are in a arena and you can one shot enemies with the crucible until the powerup ends. And then, the crucible has ammo again
@@ElderHickory958 Ah I get what you're saying. Give him a Sin Devil Trigger or Spartan Rage where he go and Berserker Mode with the DEMONIC Crucible. And thinking about it, it's great as long as it follows the rule of super mode. Fill up a bar and trigger it whenever you want.
Nice. I like it. Always never liked power up pick ups because it's not really in your arsenal to control and activate it
You obviously skipped the cutscene where you kill the Icon of Sin by putting the crucible in his brain. 😌
It would have been cool if they put a couple of lifts in the final boss so that you could jump on him and hit him with the crucible and then use the thrusters to go back to the stage.

well at least there is a new dlc coming out, and there is a indie game very similar to doom eternal called ultrakill that is mostly bosses, not exactly the same but very good
You can kill the marauder with the crucible, but only in its glory kill state.
And what we know now:
Tyrant (Cyberemon-like) is actually even not a boss, so easy.
Doom Hunter - Need 2 hits.
Maradeur - can't be killled with it, only possible "glory kill" after stun
Gladiator - Crucible makes lot of DMG on 1st phase, on 2nd not allways works
Khan Maykr - one hit = stun for bloody hit
Icon of Sin - parts can be hit, but not 1shot-1part (better use BFG)
you literally kill the icon of sin with the crucible in the ending cutscene tho
Really liking the 60 FPS upload, aside from that it's good to see observations being made on console versions of the game.
You can kill the Marauder with the crucible, you have to hit while he's faltered or with green eyes.
It works on the marauder just fine. So does the BFG. You either have to nail the timing when he lunges or stagger him first so the shield doesn't block it.
I wish with berserk, one button was for the glory kills, and the other was just to punch a fucking demon into the wall

The crucible does work with the icon of sin, look at the glory kill

Actually someone did beat the icon of sin with only a crucible
The actual boss Doom hunter takes way longer to kill than the normal ones you can kill in like 5 sec with 2 blood punches, a 3 hit missile lock on, and a ssg shot to the face
i think it works but it was really difficult due to the crucibles attack speed and all the platforming in the level in order to reach them.
Thats a normal glory kill animation glitch i call it strechy
You can only kill the Marauder with the Crucible if he's staggered, and it doesn't waste ammo, as far as I've experienced
You can see that for some reason when he takes out the sled on the doom hunter he loses "ammo" from his crucible (I don't know how's it called so im just calling it ammo) even tho he has infinite ammo. I noticed it 'cause it happend to me on my playthrough
Crucible against DOOM-Hunter even on infinite ammo depletes your energy for it by 1 for when you go back into campaign without the code. So be mindful of that.
Julius Archibald IV only depletes it to 1, at that point its still gonna be infinite so
with the marauder it does look to be an animation glitch
if you compare that crucible kill with the mechanized zombie's kill it looks to be the same
Killing the marauder with the crucible is not a bug I’ve also killed him with it twice after he was distracted with the BFG plasma ball.

Cynic The Original managed to kill the Icon of Sin with the Crucible. It required a lot patience and good timing

I was wondering if you could get the enemies to fight each other, like you could try the doom hunter vs maraurder or however you spell it.
You known you said that the crucible doesn't work against the icon when in the final cutscene you thrust it into its brain then paralyze it until the crucible is removed again
Not for nothing, but I tested taking out the Icon of Sin with the Crucible, and I was able to take down the eight pieces of armor in phase one with just the Crucible.
Not so much in phase two.

The Crucible would cut through Cheif like a lightsaber through styrofoam
master chief would beat the doom marine definitely, but I don't think anything would beat the doom slayer, honestly master chief probably wouldn't have any protection against the BFG either

I think the marauder is overpowered. He can block the crucible and BFG despite not being a true boss.

Download fling trainer for unlimited jump and dash then try the crucible to all bosses if it works
Archvile is also one hit with crucible

crucible inf ammo doesn’t work for me when i have the cheat code on when i get the crucible out it says the inf symbol but when i use it the crucible’s energy gets lower when i use it and then i can’t use it after i use it 3 times if anyone has a fix for this pls tell me

It's a cheat code that you can find in the game. I think it's one of the first you can find.

Why people can't figure it out themselves? Lazy? Don't have the game? Can't be bothered or what?
I figured this out myself without this vid, except Marauder because it's obvious that it's hard to pull off and I can't be bothered to do it. The Crucible is only meant to finish an opponent, obviously doesn't do that to bosses, if that was the case why even call them a boss?
