This is an odd question, but maybe someone else knows the answer: Why are Ten's solo songs in English? I love them, but I just wondered since it's not his first language and no other NCT songs are solely in English.
i think he's more fluent in english than in korean? either that or it just fit the concept better (idk for sure tho)
His English seems so natural in his songs. “Dream in a Dream” is just lovely. I love the way it’s simple, but it builds.
I think the reason is his english is better than his Korean. He mentioned once that he doesn't translate his thoughts directly into Korean from Thai but first translates them into English and then into Korean. And since his english pronunciation is so good it's almost a boon for SM so that they can release more songs in English that connect with international listeners.
While I have you smart folks here, why is Ten so often a solo artist within the organization? He was in "The Seventh Sense" with the group, "Baby Don't Stop" with Taeyong, and "Black on Black," but even that last one was a solo part in the main dance. I like his interactions with the other guys, but he so rarely performs with them.
ELLEN Meadows no idea. Maybe because he has a strong individual presence. He's also the best dancer in the group so he can pull off charismatic performances just by himself. (Like Taemin?) Just my guess ofcourse
