    All airports with ATC control towers in the U.S. (and many non-towered airports) use a standard set of pavement markings and elevated signs to guide pilots from the parking airport to the active runway. In this video, we'll explore the location and meaning of each in a simulated 3D airport environment so that you'll be well prepared when taxiing at a large airport.

    How to collide on taxi-way before modification of airports to accomodate a380.?

      Runway holding position marking
      = jet blast
      = seperation
      = minimum clearance
      Non-movement
      = area
      == hahaha
      = boundry
      == ...
      Taxi way
      = direction Sign
      = location Sign
      = location amd direction Sign
      = holding position marking
      With a380 requirements in-mind, the taxi-way classifications for aircraft types, should be similar to classes of roads, engineering curves and spreads and seperation and holding and area.sss. During movement, all are a380 and cannot be a snob.

    That's all? I need something a lot more comprehensive than this.

      @@dh-flies no shit sherlock... When I first started flying in 1970 there was no such thing as Internet and all I have for home study were books..... That's not my point... This video is severely lacking as a review source or for first time pilots.... As much as I appreciate books these videos are much more efficient and really have made paper mostly obsolete.
      .. fortunately a simple search for "runway markings" yields a bunch of more comprehensive videos and so I don't have to get any books out....
      Sporty's Pilot shop always had the really expensive stuff that I could never afford anyway... Actually now that I think about it I bought a cool rechargeable flashlight from them circa 1972 (mandatory for night flying in a Cessna nifty one fifty)....

      @@braininavatnow9197 You might look at a better paying job Dr Watson.... The internet's been around since 1991. Don't need to be a Sherlock Holmes to figure that out. You've been flying since 1970 and don't know what runway markers are? I pity the fool that flies with you. This video is a primer for people. Any new time pilots, or students, have all the resources for the stuff you're bitching about. You sure your name isn't Karen?

      @@dh-flies Actually I'm looking for supplemental material for my students... TCP and IP protocols have been around since the mid-70s.... You might want to do a search "history of the internet" before you pretend to have knowledge you don't have.... No passenger of mine has ever been hurt....
      And there's really no need for you to resort to implicit taciturn allusions to racist epithets.
      I'm not sure but it seems to me that you might have homosexual fantasies regarding the man(men)who produced this video and you found my observation regarding said video's insufficiency to promote a primitive defense mechanism within your conjointly primitive neural networks.
      But then I could be wrong you could just be a garden variety, albeit pretentious, asshole.
