Love making these. Bought the pattern. I have made them as christmas tree decorations. I just slipped stitched into the top then chained 50 then slipped stitched back in the same spot to make a hanger. I also drooped to a 2.5 hook for the hanging bit. they come out super cute with sparkly yarn. Thank you for the pattern and video. love it.
That sounds like an awesome twist to the pattern!!! Love it. Sparkly yarn is awesome! I'm trying to find green sparkly yarn for my Christmas tree fidget I'm working on.
Your count on either row number or st count is off most of the video & it made this video so incredibly frustrating to watch & translate into my own crochet language. but once I watched & rewatched, counted & recounted what you were doing I figured it out! this is the cutest thing in the world & I love it!
HIGHLY suggest using a stitch marker! I would have had to restart many times had I not used one. Super cute, bit of a challenge for me but I did it and it came out super cute.
When she skips saying the number 5 for round 5, i believe every row thereafter is actually 1 row less than she says, due to the accidental "skipping" of 5. I think I explained it correctly
Thanks so much for making such a clear, easy to follow pattern, and explaining the ears, the bead stitch, where to put the hook in the second round after the beads, and how to space the safety eyes. I was so frustrated by another pattern that everyone else seemed to love because some of it just didn't make sense. Nothing against that designer, I just couldn't grasp it I guess. I went and bought your pattern to support you. ❤
This is a fantastic tutorial - The fidget hedgy is all the rage - So..are the beads spinnable ? do they roll if you run your finger along them?? @TeasuredHometown
Totally confused at the decrease rounds. I have made 4 others with a different pattern but this one totally lost me there. Ended up pulling it all out. I
It's a decrease, single crochet next two. Which takes from 24 to 18 stitches. First 2 stitches don't have beads, then they're alternating every other stitch with a bead, the last 3 don't have a bead. Then the next row is a basic decrease pattern from 18 to 12, last row is 6 decreases first without a bead, the rest alternate between beads and no beads.

That’s what I thought too, she’s saying one row more than there actually is
I'm totally lost

YIKES.!. What happened to round # 5..?.Thank you for sharing
Round 5 is actually round 6. It isn't missing a round. I just skipped numbers.
So is there a round 5 or not ?
@melodymaben4207 she misspoke. Instead of saying round 5, she said row 6 she went on from there 7,8,9,etc there are no missing rows!
Excellent tutorial! ✅🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽
Thanks! I'm glad you liked it!
Thank you for posting!
You're very welcome!
So how many rounds? Video needs redone so not confusing
Are rounds 4 and 5 the same ?????
It skips over the count for round 5. Round 4 goes directly to round 6.
Can I ask what weight of wool and hook size you are using please
3.5mm hook, and #4 weight yarn.
Wheres round 5 ?
Just found this page today 11/9 , sad to say you can no longer get pdf
I'm so sorry I've updated the link.
What is round 5?
There isn't a round 5, when recording I got off on my number.
💕 it😮
Thank you.
Missing 5th round?
No, sorry, I messed up my roe counts. It's not missing a row.
This is a fantastic tutorial - The fidget hedgy is all the rage - So..are the beads spinnable ? do they roll if you run your finger along them?? @TeasuredHometown
Yes they do roll, but if you work your stitches too tightly, they don't spin well.
