This is the last album Julie made that was any good (it won a bunch of Grammys). She recorded another album of Alan Jay Lerner music but it wasn't nearly as good.
Thank you. I have the same way of thinking. I have spent way more time than is healthy on the audio track already. It’s this or nothing (unless someone donates his old VHS copy to the cause?).
I saved some of the songs in my UA-cam library.. And love the album...watching her sing some of them now oh gosh what a talent! I cry when I hear her sing
OK …… I feel like I’ve died and gone to Heaven as I listen to this angel (aka Julie Andrews) sing these timeless pieces. Her voice coaches have gotta be saying …. “She (Julie) was my favorite student.”
This entire album was using too much of her lower register. I really wanted to hear her upper register with warmer tones, which she excels at. The highest note we hear is an F sharp. She could have done it, but it seems that it was a very conscious decision.

Julie Andrews lost her amazing voice three years later after this recording session. Nobody would have imagined that tragedy back in 1994.
The sound is messed up. If it can be fixed that would be great, if not I'll take it as is and be happy about it. I love Julie Andrews so much!
