dude thank you so much i got hotel hell first try and i didnt get stressed out anxious i just was chilling playing the game i only had 4-5 rushes 1 ambush and the rest is ez W to you man one thing i changed was the el goblino modifier for a-90 so i coudld get skeleton key for herb to heal incase i take damage
guys, i’m not sure if this has been patched, or if it’s even a bug, but if you use any of the bad electrical work modifiers, door 100 will become COMPLETELY dark after a few minutes. (like full blackout, and guiding light will also almost fully disappear). so beware of that happening if you use bad electrical work mods.
@@blackout00784 the lights breaking doesn’t affect door 100. & dread takes an hour to spawn at door 100, plus, i did it way before dread could spawn on any door besides 13. so it definitely wasn’t dread.

I made my own but I’ll show you here: El Goblino’s Payday: No gold can be found +15% Wear And Tear: Most items have significantly less durability and/or use +5% Soundproofing: Keys, books and other similar pickups no longer emit a shimmering noise +5% Key Key Key Key: Almost every room is locked +15% Tripped And Fell: Enter with 10% health. It can be healed back. +10% Really Bad Time: Most entities will attack much more often. +20% Rush Hour: Rush will attack more often. +10% I’m Runnin’ Here: Rush will move quicker. +10% Battle Of Wits: Dupe will almost always spawn and is set to maximum difficulty. +15% Nosey: Eyes will spawn more. +5% Rent’s Due: Hide will attack as fast as possible. +15% Are Those Pancakes?!: Snare spawns in multiples throughout the floor. +10% Stop Right There: A-90 from The Rooms has a chance to attack. +15%
to make it a little easier, get rid of gone fishing, soundproofing, locked and loaded, nowhere to hide, and battle of wits instead, put bad electrical work, key key key key, bad time, wrong number, come back here although it increases entity spawn chance, you still have guiding light and there are no less closets. dupe also spawns less, and figure is faster but find the closets to hide in and you’ll be good if he’s aggro edit: also, bad electrical work is my replacement for roundabout, which was removed after the floor 2 update
I have another strat : electrical work, El goblino Payday, out of stuff, locked and loaded (not key key key), after image and back for seconds, the modifier that makes rush faster, the hardest modifier for dupe since you can see through the wall, seek is unfairly faster,nosey,rents due, are those pancakes, and stop right there (a-90 spawns) and that should be 14 modifiers, sometimes rush bugs and won't spawn and I got to room 90 easily
this is way to underrated. i got hotel hell at 67 total deaths over my account and beat hotel hell my third try with these modifiers. im subscribing 100%
I recommend changing one of the harder mods, ex. Locked and loaded, for are those pancakes because snare is super easy to dodge especially with no light mods. If you get it won’t kill toy so just stay alert for dupe or sceeech
A tip for gone fishing on seek chase: if you use electrical work the lights in seek chase won’t flicker allowing you to see the door labels on seek chase without slowing down, hope this helps, also I wouldn’t make seek faster because you would always need vitamins, I’d replace it with nosey
To counter dupe, you can just crouch and *slam* yourself onto the left/right sight of a door to see if it’s dupe. If u see a wall or a staircase room, then it’s not dupe. However if u see a small box room it’s dupe (bottom will be white/edged and main part will be black)
This was great tip but without the guiding light at the seek Chase was significantly harder for me so I left gone fishing and changed it to watch your steps or itchy and and ambush gave me some trouble with the nowhere to hide modifiers but other then that, I managed to beat it and 100% the game
As much as its good i have a modifier stack that only requires skill during seek chase: Eletrical work: you will have plenty of time to find a closet 10% El goblino payday and no stuff: i didnt buy any items in the elevator but i highly suggest buying vitamins.15% and 15% Gone fish and soundproofing: just use your eyes. 5% and 5% Bad ventilation: with no guilding light the seek chase will be hard, but if u run to the left a little bit you will see the door, i used it so i can get passed seek chase without messin up. 10% Last few breaths: taking damage can be easily avoided, the only place i took damage was in greenhouse.10% Bad time+rush hour: it makes rush spawn about every 6 doors.10% and 10% Battle of wits: if you run to the wall next to the door you can see a black box, black box=dupe, you cant do that with items equipped btw.15% Think fast: screech is barely faster, if u already have fast reaction time, then no problem.5% Nosey: everytime you enter a room, look down until you know for sure that eyes isnt there.5% Back for seconds and afterimage: dont hide too early otherwise itll be deadly.10% and 10% Rents due: for rush, just get when rush is close, for ambush get in as late as possible and dont come out till ambush passes by.15% It is much easier than the one in the video,as when I tried all these modifiers I did it first try, but if u think bad ventilation is still hard then you can change it to something easy like locked and loaded, it's only gonna make your run easier
I tried it and beat it first try definitly would recomend this combo. BUT, if you add "Stop Right There" and get rid of another modifier you don't like, it's +15% bonus for free. A-90 barely spawns, if you're lucky, it won't.
Tip: swap nowhere to hide for bad ventilation as bad ventilation is a free 10% and nowhere to hide will make your life a living hell in greenhouse, swap last few breaths for really bad time (it doesnt effect the run much)

tip: if u suck at juking, u can use alarm clock to distract figure when he chases you. Normally i just put it right before i open the door, but u can do other ways too.
tysm i got hotel hell but i didnt use think Fast, because when I have things fast, I sadly died to screech at door 61 but I really bad and I still there in the greenhouse and then I tried again later without thinking fast modifier And I did it anyways yeah I did it. I couldn’t beat Hotel Hell but then when the April Fools update came out and the voice acting for hotel came out I was able to beat Hotel Hell because it revealed when rush and ambush would come and good thing I beat it fast before it was made a modifier

one thing to think about also is figures whole minigame has been removed and no hide on door 50 or 100 so just hop in one if you really need too should be last resorts tho
Here’s my list yall, I’d say this is one of the best lists, 1.keykeykey 2. el goblino payday (no coins) 3. Always watching (eyes spawns in every room) 4. Back for seconds (Ambush spawn rate+) 5. Rush hour (rush spawns more) 6. Rents due (hide attacks a bit faster) 7. Electrical work (lights don’t flicker for entities, when rush attacks the lights don’t break) 8. Less stuff (bandages are less likely to spawn) 9. Really bad time (entities spawn more) 10. Battle of wits (dupe is set to max difficulty and spawns more) 11. It can run too (seek is unfairly faster now) 12. Afterimages (ambush spawns more) 13. Are those pancakes??! (Multiple snares spawn per room) really ez
In my experience, i would replace Rush hour, Nowhere to hide and Gone fishing with Stop right there, Itchy and Nosey Stop right there is basically free +15%, if you can "think fast" that is And Itchy is literally free unless you have terrible luck. Nosey is free unless u SUCK AT EYES SOMEHOW
Oh and i don't use It can run too, if you pair it with gone fishing it's rlly not that great, also if you use the set up i just said u get the 5% from stop right there anyway
What an amazing day of finding another guide that requires an ambush modifier(I can’t use them because they require unbound and ambush never spawns for me)
The modifiers I used: electrical work el goblinos payday less stuff soundproofing battle of wits afterimage stop right there back for seconds nosey think fast really bad time last few breaths rush hour locked and loaded and I think I’m missing one cuz i feel like it. Modifiers I used for not five stars: out of stuff rush hour back for seconds locked and loaded nosey
Fun Fact: Hide doesn't exist in door 50 OR 100, so if figure sneaks up on you or something just hide, also no heartbeat minigame will play (I think its a bug)

Isnt using more timothy modifier better then gone fishing? Locked rooms wont be a problem because of gone fishing and in other times there will be 0 reason to open any drawers at all. It will make last room so much easier
i couldve beat it ages ago but i got to door 100 and then figure got me through the wall then i done like what 20 runs after i got to door 98 or smth and then i didnt know eyes were there so yeah rip to me and i havent tried for past couple days now
Opened video for good modifier combo *Gone fishing and Soundproofing* If u dont get why i dont like this combo, then here is explonation. For cost of 10% of modifers u get rid of any clues that may hint u throughout run. It's not something that makes game a lot harder, howrver it makes game a lot longer. And remember, u only get 10% which really low. If getting rid of something, it's visual clues. Game is really reliant on sounds so u can easily live without visual clues. And istead u can pick electrical work, which just doesnt alert about rush and hes another ambush now

Also when you enter room 100 go forward a bit and the wall on your right there is a room behind it but i dont know how to juke him there and also what if dread spawns at door 100
I don't wanna try this but,I'll change some of your modifiers For locked and loaded use itchy For soundproofing use any modifiers that can make the game normal as possible
better modifier combo (EVEN EAZIER TRUST ME) -El Goblino's Payday -Wear And Tear -Gone Fishing -Locked And Loaded -Last Few Breaths -Nowhere to hide -Really Bad Time (trust me on this one) -Rush Hour -Battle Of Wits -Think Fast -Itchy -Nosey -Back For Seconds -Afterimage -Rent's Due (this is very ez) *ill explain why this is eazier* (only if you're this good at doors) it basically wont affect the difficulty of the hotel at all, but will rather just take more time out of your day with the rush and ambush modifiers. i got to door 88 with my first try! - the reason why el goblino's payday is still here, but not "out of stuff" is because this makes the run like alot eazier (+ still 15 modifiers only) "wear and tear" has the same knob percentage as "less stuff" but the rarity of finding items arent affected at all, which is a great advantage. you'll be able to find bandages for this (for the "last few breaths" modifier.) -Gone fishing is acceptable to be here but NOT SOUNDPROOFING, that will make door 100 too hard, you can use the shimmering noises to your advantage, that being, checking the drawers without having to open them if they dont make a shimmery sound (this works good for the fact the itchy modifier is also here) -Nowhere to hide is the main reason why you should do this solo or with 2 people. its not really that bad -Really bad time and rush hour, and the other 2 ambush things are the main things that take the most time out of your day in this run, but thats ok cuz they're ez to avoid even with "Rent's due" (make sure to be suspicious and wary of any flickers, even if they may be false alarms) -for battle of wits, simply just count the door numbers, maybe put it in chat sometimes if you encounter a locked room - Think fast is ez to avoid ngl - i played with the "nosey" modifier and the impression i got is: if eyes spawns in one room, he follows you into like 5 more before actually leaving, but thats ok again, got to door 88 on my first solo run and 3rd ever try.

one thing to think about also is figures whole minigame has been removed and no hide on door 50 or 100 so just hop in one if you really need too should be last resorts tho
actually, hide was added to the library in the same update. it takes around a minute to spawn, and is to prevent being AFK in a closet.

For dupe in the greenhouse, just look if there is anything behind the door since now there are gates.
Here’s my list yall, I’d say this is one of the best lists,

4. Back for seconds (Ambush spawn rate+)
5. Rush hour (rush spawns more)
6. Rents due (hide attacks a bit faster)
7. Electrical work (lights don’t flicker for entities, when rush attacks the lights don’t break)
8. Less stuff (bandages are less likely to spawn)
9. Really bad time (entities spawn more)
10. Battle of wits (dupe is set to max difficulty and spawns more)
11. It can run too (seek is unfairly faster now)
12. Afterimages (ambush spawns more)
13. Are those pancakes??! (Multiple snares spawn per room) really ez
Question can you hide in the closets forever in door 100 with the modifier that makes hide 10x faster?
In my experience, i would replace Rush hour, Nowhere to hide and Gone fishing with Stop right there, Itchy and Nosey
Stop right there is basically free +15%, if you can "think fast" that is
And Itchy is literally free unless you have terrible luck.
Nosey is free unless u SUCK AT EYES SOMEHOW
Rush hour can be fine, same for Gone fishing, but Nowhere to hide paired with rush hour AND im runnin here
You are just basically asking for death.
Oh and i don't use It can run too, if you pair it with gone fishing it's rlly not that great, also if you use the set up i just said u get the 5% from stop right there anyway

Good fact:at door 100 go to that door where the code it's and stand up and then don't stand up and figures stuck then you can win easily
The modifiers I used: electrical work el goblinos payday less stuff soundproofing battle of wits afterimage stop right there back for seconds nosey think fast really bad time last few breaths rush hour locked and loaded and I think I’m missing one cuz i feel like it. Modifiers I used for not five stars: out of stuff rush hour back for seconds locked and loaded nosey
Fun Fact: Hide doesn't exist in door 50 OR 100, so if figure sneaks up on you or something just hide, also no heartbeat minigame will play (I think its a bug)
instead of battle of the wits you use stop right there, i used it and a90 didnt spawn ONCE (i won ty fr)

i have some disagrees with the list
Really bad time should be active, it makes entities spawn more often, which shouldnt be a problem (Only real threats with this are dupe, rush, screech, each of these having a rather basic survival strategy)
Nosey should be active
Itchy should be active
Bad electrical work (or Good electrical work, this is preferance based)
Ouf of stuff should be wear and tear (Bandages can now spawn, which is very helpful)
No where to hide disabled
Last few breaths disabled
It can run too disabled
This should make the hotel easier to beat, with the only bad part is rush, dupe and screech being more dangerous (Dupe: say the door number out loud to yourself when you open the door, to know instantly where to go) (Screech: Skill issue if you cant beat him and find a good substitue modifier) (Rush: Electrical work modifiers make him ever so slightly harder, with bad electrical work making you be extra careful and always on edge (all of this being good), while good electrical work makes it harder, at the upside of dark rooms not being so common)
also either gone fishing(requires a good PC) or soundproofing(super helpful) is deleted.
if u are on mobile or console (or you have the sun blocking ur screen) then keep soundproofing off

Isnt using more timothy modifier better then gone fishing? Locked rooms wont be a problem because of gone fishing and in other times there will be 0 reason to open any drawers at all. It will make last room so much easier

i couldve beat it ages ago but i got to door 100 and then figure got me through the wall then i done like what 20 runs after i got to door 98 or smth and then i didnt know eyes were there so yeah rip to me and i havent tried for past couple days now

If u dont get why i dont like this combo, then here is explonation. For cost of 10% of modifers u get rid of any clues that may hint u throughout run. It's not something that makes game a lot harder, howrver it makes game a lot longer. And remember, u only get 10% which really low. If getting rid of something, it's visual clues. Game is really reliant on sounds so u can easily live without visual clues. And istead u can pick electrical work, which just doesnt alert about rush and hes another ambush now

Time to try and beat hotel hell.. after that ill finally get the rooms badge..(i have the one for exiting rooms but not the one for entering...)
I'll probably have to replace Think Fast with Nosey, because I play on Console, so Screech is a pain.
Also when you enter room 100 go forward a bit and the wall on your right there is a room behind it but i dont know how to juke him there and also what if dread spawns at door 100

(only if you're this good at doors) it basically wont affect the difficulty of the hotel at all, but will rather just take more time out of your day with the rush and ambush modifiers. i got to door 88 with my first try!
- the reason why el goblino's payday is still here, but not "out of stuff" is because this makes the run like alot eazier (+ still 15 modifiers only)
"wear and tear" has the same knob percentage as "less stuff" but the rarity of finding items arent affected at all, which is a great advantage.
you'll be able to find bandages for this (for the "last few breaths" modifier.)
-Gone fishing is acceptable to be here but NOT SOUNDPROOFING, that will make door 100 too hard, you can use the shimmering noises to your advantage, that being, checking the drawers without having to open them if they dont make a shimmery sound (this works good for the fact the itchy modifier is also here)
-Nowhere to hide is the main reason why you should do this solo or with 2 people. its not really that bad
-Really bad time and rush hour, and the other 2 ambush things are the main things that take the most time out of your day in this run, but thats ok cuz they're ez to avoid even with "Rent's due"
(make sure to be suspicious and wary of any flickers, even if they may be false alarms)
-for battle of wits, simply just count the door numbers, maybe put it in chat sometimes if you encounter a locked room
- Think fast is ez to avoid ngl
- i played with the "nosey" modifier and the impression i got is: if eyes spawns in one room, he follows you into like 5 more before actually leaving, but thats ok
again, got to door 88 on my first solo run and 3rd ever try.
rent's due is not ez bro (keep in mind im not bad cuz i got not five stars in 5 attempts)
