  • When you undertake a storytelling project like this, you simply cannot succeed without the support of those whose stories you’re telling. For this, we would like to thank the incredibly supportive town of Ketchikan and, in particular, the more than 300 local residents we interviewed (on and off camera) as well as the many creative artists who helped us realize our vision and the dozens of others who contributed so graciously throughout the course of producing this film series. Without their gifts of time and knowledge, our films would not be nearly as authentic, colorful and full of life. We would also like to thank Michael Naab, Richard Van Cleave, and Lacey Gilbo Simpson at the Ketchikan Museums for unlimited access to their exceptional image collection. To our story supervisors, Irene Dundas, Sara Lawson, Mike Cessnun, and Dave Kiffer: Thank you for helping us get the story straight! And finally, we would be remiss if we didn't acknowledge the contributions of writer/historians Dave Kiffer, Stephen Reeve, Renee McLaughlin, June Allen, and Louise Brinck Harrington, whose previous efforts to uncover and preserve Ketchikan's history and heritage are reflected in our efforts here.
    With so much gratitude,

Aloha! I watched so many of your reels about Waikiki before I went there in February of 2024. Nice surprise to you both visiting Alaska which I’ll be visiting at the end of May 2024 on celebrity solstice. Have fun! 🌸

It has changed so much from the early 70's wen I used to work at the Frontier Saloon next to the Pioneer Hotel! I did see the old Alaska Bar sign in an old picture, Roger Hoff owned the Saloon and I remember I had to go and meet the first Cruise Ship that had come dressed up as a prospector, touting our famous "Fireball" drink.
