@Neil Downe No, I was not born here. I have lived here twice. All together I have lived here for about 23 years. If you really want to you should give it a try. If you get no reply, then I probably wasn't notified there is a question at all.
I'm glad you showed the power plug-ins in this video. They hold a special place in my memory. We moved to AK in 2011 and when we first went to "Wally World" in Fairbanks, it was summertime. I saw those plug-in's and a LOT of RV's parked in the "far reaches" of the parking lot. My first thought (as we were RV'er's at that time) was that Walmart had their own campground thing going on. I still laugh about that to this day!

Believe me we live in Calgary Canada and you get sick/tired of snow/winter really fast.Because by mid September we get the first frost and around Halloween we get snow that starts to hang around(The sun is to week to melt it by then) We do get chinooks but that causes icy side walks/Headaches and falling is high risk.Spring doesn't usually come till May ish. Summers are very short/Winters are very long.

1. Natives live in poverty (i’ve been there) 2. EVERYTHING IS EXPENSIVE 3. Hard to find good jobs that keep up with your bills, food and etc be warned if u try to go in rural alaska.
I wanted to ask because I don't even live in USA but I live in Panama and we also have our native american folks and when lets say the goverment wants to provide them with help of some sort, depending on what exactly it is they sometimes refuse it because of their culture or religion and I was wondering if maybe is the same thing over there?
Bike Race Baudi Poverty is relative. Some people choose to live “poor” but rich lives far off the grid. We had a farm when I was a kid. We were technically poor but we had cows and grain crops and a garden. One butchered cow can go a long way. I actually hated steak we ate it so often.
Hey man!! Love ur videos... omg i could never move there.. so lonely lol but interesting!!!! Let me ask you about ur heating bill lol. How do most people heat their homes? Oil? Gas?
Ivancito908NJ it’s heating fuel which is a type of diesel and most have boilers that provide baseboard heat We go thru about a 100 gallons every 45 days or so and heating fuel is less than 3 dollars a gal

How does your dog deal with the coldness? Does his paws freeze or get frost bite? He is a short haired dog, doesn't he get cold? How long is a pet allowed out for?
Hi. I thought about moving up there .but the cost of fresh vegs was too much for my budget. Has it become cheaper? I was paying 9.00 - 15.00 for salad stuff
Do you keep your car in a garage? I saw the plug part , but still a garage seems pretty important and your car seems very snow free .
Toni Rad hey Toni we have a garage and keep the vehicles inside , when I drive to work they have plug ins that I can use so the vehicle will start 8 hours later
好漂亮雪景👍👍👍
I lived in the duplex in front and 1 to the left for a few months!!! 0:00
I love off Chena pump too!
Thank you Sir
Thanks for showing this. My first trip there was last summer where it was hottest on record! But there is such a draw. You have not deterred me 😄.
We were not at 50 below, I also live in fairbanks it only got down to like 44 below max so far this year that I've seen, and trust me I know, I work outside lmao.
Record low ever is - 53F if I remember..
1. Natives live in poverty (i’ve been there)
2. EVERYTHING IS EXPENSIVE
3. Hard to find good jobs that keep up with your bills, food and etc
be warned if u try to go in rural alaska.
I wanted to ask because I don't even live in USA but I live in Panama and we also have our native american folks and when lets say the goverment wants to provide them with help of some sort, depending on what exactly it is they sometimes refuse it because of their culture or religion and I was wondering if maybe is the same thing over there?
Heywhatsupsatan Sometimes yes.
I think it's like that in many places. Now months later COVID has made things worse. The shutdowns are stupid in my opinion.
Bike Race Baudi Poverty is relative. Some people choose to live “poor” but rich lives far off the grid. We had a farm when I was a kid. We were technically poor but we had cows and grain crops and a garden. One butchered cow can go a long way. I actually hated steak we ate it so often.
Are you saying crime is high in rural Alaska?
Love your pup!
Hey man!! Love ur videos... omg i could never move there.. so lonely lol but interesting!!!! Let me ask you about ur heating bill lol. How do most people heat their homes? Oil? Gas?
Ivancito908NJ it’s heating fuel which is a type of diesel and most have boilers that provide baseboard heat
We go thru about a 100 gallons every 45 days or so and heating fuel is less than 3 dollars a gal
Interesting!!! Keep posting those videos.. love them.. greetings from Elizabeth, NJ
Hi and thanks for sharing. My question when relocating and bringing everything with us. What can and cannot bring with us??
Annette Espinosa hey Annette I think you could bring just about anything if your just talking about household things, hope you love Alaska
We figure out how cold it is by how loud the snow squeaks when we walk on it 👍😂🤷♂️
Amazing! Didn't know this stuff!
Thank you for this interesting information, gladly more. For a certain time of the year it's damn cold up there with you. A good solution to keep the vehicles at operating temperature. yes, I'm looking forward to the next videos.🧊👍☘️💫🤩
Hey i love alaska expect this winter

ill take gravel over salt, rust just plain sucks
thank goodness for that warm snap we had
Awesome video I want to see more of ak
Hey, why are the windows wooden? Or plastic ones would not survive such cold?
Awesome, thank you
Nice video! Thanks for uploading 👍
Cancel recess if it gets below -35! Over here in S. NM they might cancel class if gets below (32) freezing. Were pretty thin skinned. lol
Here in N. Alabama if they predict a half inch of snow they shut down schools and everybody runs to the grocery store to get milk and eggs. Hey, the dog don't mind the cold that much because they got fur coats.
How cold does it have to get before you wear gloves ?
