Also I have to say; I love the show House of the Dragon, although I consider the books, in this videos case Fire and Blood, to be the canon. In the official history, there is no mention of Alicent and Rhaenyra being close friends, but I absolutely love that they decided to portray them as such in the show. It makes the whole ordeal, the rifft within the family, the leadup to the civil war so much more tragic and scales the thing down from a destructive civil war to also a heartbreaking story of kin against eachother.
