For Brawl, Jason and Junichi recorded for Sonic in English and Japanese. In Smash 4, they took Junichi's clips from the previous Smash, while taking Roger's voice clips from other Sonic games. It seemed pretty lazy of the Smash devs, especially when they went out of their way to record for Fox and Falco.
For some reason they kept the same voices for Mewtwo in the Japanese and overseas versions (same with melee), meaning that the voice actor is Japanese, and he probably couldn't speak good English. But then again, back in melee, they made fox's voice actor speak broken English for the English version...
I like the deeper female voices of the English cast on the fire emblem characters, especially for Kamui. Her English voice makes her sound prideful and strong, whereas the Japanese voice sounds like the stereotypical squealing mouse female voice in most anime. However, I do think the male characters sound like bad asses in Japanese =D
+Bich Please I'm actually the opposite of you about the female voices...the English one's sounds like typical American women to me, and I'm not very fond of it lol. Especially with Lucina and female Robin, they sound so cocky in the result screens, which makes me dislike the voices even more, even though the voices themselves are alright... One interesting fact though, Lucina's Japanese voice actress' normal voice is actually on a higher pitch than the voice she uses on Lucina.

A curious thing happened, I just saw your past video of voices comparasion (again), because youtube make me remeber it (within my recomendations list), so I visited your channel to see if there was the new comparasion video with all of the dlc characters uploaded, and there was it!! you uploaded the video just 2 hours ago, wow, nice timing, lol... and nice job. :) ...and the spanish voices still are super really aweful (along with english Ryu), too bad. I think the German version of dark pit translates into impostor pit. Also, I think you missed some of Lucina's victory dialogue, for at least one of them she says "father... I've won". Same deal with Palutena.

Nice work! It's always interesting to hear the same characters speaking in different languages. I would like it more if you added the voice clips of the characters when they're blasted off the stage (not the star KO you've shown here), but this is already too awesome for me to complain lol. One question though, how come you're missing the Spanish and Italian voices for some Pokemon?

A curious thing happened, I just saw your past video of voices comparasion (again), because youtube make me remeber it (within my recomendations list), so I visited your channel to see if there was the new comparasion video with all of the dlc characters uploaded, and there was it!! you uploaded the video just 2 hours ago, wow, nice timing, lol... and nice job. :)
...and the spanish voices still are super really aweful (along with english Ryu), too bad. I wish I could have Ryu's japanese voice on my Smash. :(

Nice work! It's always interesting to hear the same characters speaking in different languages. I would like it more if you added the voice clips of the characters when they're blasted off the stage (not the star KO you've shown here), but this is already too awesome for me to complain lol.
